Is this worth the price or is there something I am missing here. This is not for games (although I probably will play more cpu intensive games on it).
I am happy to buy online if there is a deal somewhere else that I am missing, howevern not second hand or on ebay (and preferbly in Australia unless shipping keeps it around $800) obviously a quick response will be great as I do not know how long htis sale lasts :)
Hello, I was looking to buy a 7970 graphics card and had pretty much settled on the Gigabyte 7970, then I saw that the place I was buying from offered Farcry 3 Hitman Absolution and Sleeping dogs with the XFX version. These are not my kind of games but if there is little difference between the cards should I just get the XFX? If the gigabyte version IS better then I might just stick with that.
So which card is better or are they pretty much the same?

fill in some questions, I chose the parts 2-3 years ago and am only upgrading now. I am not very knowledgable with tech, let alone when i was in year 9 choosing these parts :P
No i don't overclock (could never find a guide on how to do it, all assume you know about all the BIOS stuff) and yes i only have one GPU
hello, will this graphics card:

work on this motherboard:

thanks, just don't want to buy and find out it is not compatible :)
[QUOTE="jhon9728"]Well there is a big performance difference between 5870 and 7950 but imo 5870 is still a good card and i would wait for AMD's 8xxx series for an upgrade if i was you. If you are not happy with the performance of 5870 then sure go ahead both 7950 and 7870 offer good performance improvements over 5870 and both will fit/work in your pc ( since you already have a 5870 is a safe bet they will be fine ) thanks, also would you recommend the Sapphire or the Gigabyte version? I don't currently overclockI am not looking to spend more than $300 that is really pushing it for me, so is the 7950 enough of an upgrade over my 5870?
Also is it likely to work/fit if my pc can run my 5870, my specs are listed at the start
