I play on my PC that runs it at 1440p at 130ish FPS, my X1X that gets me 60fps 4k and I also enjoy playing on my Switch on the go at 30fps.

Idk, I still enjoy it at 30 fps. I don't see the big deal since in Solo you're playing against other 30fps players. I have to say, the new patch really locked in the FPS even more on the Switch. Great patch!

Did you seriously just spoil "Get Out" on #2????? I literally just paid $25 to get that on a 4k disc to watch this weekend with my wife and you freaking spoiled the crap out of it...

I don't understand why you'd use a new movie as a reference.

@agramonte: Is that a bad thing? I stopped playing Stardew Valley on my PC because I wanted a portable version. Loving it on my Switch so far.

We have Mario this month, Doom coming, Skyrim and many many more. Not to mention Steam Dig World 2 right now which is really fun.

Sounds like you are mis-informed.

@NeverMore0: ????? - Usually I'd agree with you for some games (No Man's Sky) but this game has been running great and these are just general fixes. I have 35 hours in a weeks time and I haven't experienced any crashes or broken items. For how in-depth the game is, I'm impressed how well it runs.

@pork7: There is so much wrong with your paragraph. 2.74 million is not shortage, they are shipping them as fast as they can. They're even shipping by plane now to try and keep up. You also don't want to make 5+million units right off the bat in case there is a defect. They only anticipated 2 million so of course there is a shortage.

2nd, the Switch is sold at a profit like all their consoles. Where are you getting your info from?

What the Switch has that their previous consoles didn't, is a Nvidia powered chip. I have an Nvidia Shield and there are a lot of games just for that. We are already seeing those games ported over to the Switch. It also opens up the possibility for high end games to be streamed with Nvidia's streaming service to the Switch.

This is going to be a Indie developer's dream. Again, we're already seeing games ported over very quickly. Game's will not be an issue.

That eShop is going to be filled to the brim.

Take StarDew Valley as an example (already confirmed coming to the Switch). I loved that game. However, sitting down and playing on my PC wasn't ideal. I wanted to play in Bursts. If I was out and had to wait for my car to be serviced, if I had some down time before work, right before bed etc... The Switch now allows that game to be 100x more valuable to me. I no longer have to set aside free time to sit down on my PC. It will be with me at all times for bursts, or long play sessions.

Stop and think for a second with that one example alone. Now take those huge Indie hits and apply them to the Switch. You can play them anywhere without setting aside time to sit on your PC. You start to get a picture of how the Switch is going to be a huge force on the gaming market.

People who think the Switch is going to be a flop are in for a rude awakening and how economics work. This is when people start to spend, tax returns! Also, the move was really smart. They have 8 months or so to build the Switch up and library for an amazing Holiday gift. This is a soft launch, the hard launch is in Nov. -Dec. It's pretty obvious at this point. Not sure how people are missing this.

I have 5 games pre-ordered that I will get at launch. Before I am even close to beating them another comes out in April. They almost have one big game coming out every month until Christmas. Then when Mom and Dad go to buy little Johnny this gift, there is a huge library to chose from.

The Switch is going to do very, very well. Everything they have done so far has been extremely calculated.
