Yay! I've just gotten my Neighborly emblem updated to a Convivial emblem. Thanks to those of you who helped me get to this point. I hope I can return the favor to the you! :)
Due to a recent string of problems on my laptop, I've had to reinstall Windows XP. Man reinstalling things is a pain in the butt. I've been working for a couple of hours now on getting all my programs back and I'm still working. I'm getting closer, but at least I can use my Mom's computer to post here right now. See ya!
I've just been awarded the Neighborly Emblem! :) Thanks for helping me get there guys! I guess it pays to be friendly! Ok, I'll stop ending every sentence with an exclamation point now...
I've been going around commenting on other people's blogs for a few minutes. Then I hit a snag! :( Darn maintenance messages! I hope their back up soon!
After seeing that some of the news articles on GameSpot are about people lining up to get the PS3, I've been wondering - are these lines really worth it? What's the point of standing in line from what basically amounts to a toy. Sure, a lot of people don't think of video games that way, but still. This is about as ridiculous as people lining up for the Tickle Me Elmo. Yes. There are people out there that take toys seriously, there are collectors and people out their that just seem to really enjoy them and even I like talking about video games on the Internet, and shopping for somewhat childish things on eBay. But lining up for something waiting for up to a week for it to come out? Camping in the line? What is the point!?
I've been doing some thinking and I've realized that I spend way too much time on the computer and definitely not enough studying. That's about to change. I'm going to be here slightly less often. I've let the Internet take over my life and I'm going to have to do something to better myself. Sorry guys, but becoming popular on and Internet gaming forum is NOT my life's goal. I've got to go make something of myself! NOW!
We recently switched to a DSL connection at our house and got a wireless router to go with it. I'm amazed at how fast the Internet is now. I couldn't live without it now. And to think I used to be satisfied with dial-up...
I got this game about a year ago and didn't really get around to playing it. I thought it was pretty darn childish at first. Now I'm starting to get addicted to it. It got a really bad score on GameSpot. I don't understand why! The only thing I can find that seems bad about it is the voicovers. Those suck, but all in all its a great game.
Maybe I just have bad taste. I play a lot of games that most people wouldn't give the time of day. I'm not really a normal person anyways. A lot of people think I'm kind of strange...
But anyways, back to the topic.
I just thought I'd get my feelings about this game out there. I felt like typing something for my blog and this is what came to mind. See ya!
After trying to think up a witty comment to put in my signature, I decided to just put an "I accept all friend requests!" message and a link to every union I'm in. It's not much, but it adds some color to my posts. Feel free to comment on it.
