Look at my Now Playing list. The two on there are both Castlvania games (Portrait of Ruin and Aria of Sorrow). I've never before played a Castlevania game (gasp!). But as of lately, I can't get enough! I first started to play Dawn of Sorrow. At first I kind felt so-so about. I think this was due to so many hours of looking for the right way to go. It would take me a couple of hours to find the next boss. But by the time I did, I had leveled up enough to have beaten the boss with ease. After 6 hours of playing, I really got into it. I played it non-stop. Once I beat it, I spent about two weeks just going around killing stuff and going through Boss Rush. And of course, Julius mode, the icing of the cake (How can you not like being able to play Alucard!). Then I got Portrait of Ruin. That took me about 4 days to beat. PoR is really linear. A lot of the extras in PoR I liked. Although: all together, I think Dawn of Sorrow is the better game. Soma Cruz kicks ass! The reason why I kinda disliked DoS first also became my favorite part of the game. Oh, the irony.
Today I got the Aria of Sorrow & Harmony of Dissonance double pack for GBA. To all of those thinking of getting it (and I highly recommed doing so); It's not actually two cartridges, but two games in one. Not really a big thing, though I was planning to lend a friend Harmony while I played Aria, but still, good to know. Who know's how long I'll be playing these two.
Think I've forgot to to mention Symphony of the Night? UNTHINKABLE! Still I can't believe I haven't gotten it yet, for ten bucks, how could you not want it?? I'm looking foward to getting it, Six different endings, playing as the greatest Castlevania character in the series, ect. ect. Esh, with this, I think I'll be playing some sort of Castlevania game for the couple months or so. Even so, they DON'T GET BORING! Guess I'll have to put everything else aside...
Castlevania has one of the most interesting story line I've ever heard. There way too much to talk about here, so here's a wiki link on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castlevania
Can't wait for the PSP one!
