Yea, it feels a bit repetitive at times. You keep doing the same things over and over. I think what really cheapens the whole atmosphere is that the residents aren't even interactive. You can't just go up and talk to them like other games. There's only so much outposts or hunting I can do before it starts getting stale. My advice is to avoid most of the sidequests all together, that way you at least have the story to hold your attention.

It felt like more of the same, and yeah by then I was getting a bit bored. There's alot of better shooters out there.
It has been shown from a handful of articles and interviews that the ps3 and xbox 360 will have a lifetime duration of 10 more years starting from now. (not litereally now, like this year now, u get the idea lol). Well technically xbox wants to beat the ps3's duration by 1 day but haha that's a joke. So no it it definitely not late at all cause u got soo many years to go. I also purchased the ps3 recently during winterbreak 2008 and I absolutely love it. It definitely got me all into the high definition and 1080p stuff that the ps3 can deliver. And also pick up a copy of metal gear solid 4 if u are buying one that game will blow you away.
