So, I was watching some youtube videos and got intrigued by the SCART cable on the older systems on how much better the image quality is compared to the composite cable (Yellow, Red and White). SCART format were never available on US, only Europe and Japan. So today, I order this cable from ebay for my US Super Nintendo model.

Since my TV doesn't have SCART input, I also ordered this converter box (SCART to HDMI).

Converter Box (SCART to HDMI)

After ordering this, I found out that the European SCART cable is different then the Japanese one, not the connections though, the difference is the wiring inside, so now I'm worried that I may have ordered a wrong item. From what I can tell, I think I ordered the cable right, the description is that the cable is for US Super Nintendo and Japanese Famicom, since the seller is from Europe, my guess is that SCART connection is for European TVs. My question now is that if that converted box (SCART to HDMI) is for the European SCART cable or the Japanese one.

So is that anyone that uses this setup that can tell me more about it?

I might go digital. Face it, there are not many games left for PS3. I have plenty of room for the Last of Us, and GT6, The Puppeteer, and a few others.

Videodogg

To be honest, I could even have a 1TB of HDD space that I would go with a disc version. In 20 years I can pop the disc and play the game. If I get the game digital, in 20 years they could shut down the PS3 services and I won't be able to redownload the game in case my hard drive dies or something.

I still have both, but the PS1 is the most fun I ever had on any system. From Crash to Resident Evil, from Tomb Raider to Metal Gear Solid, the library is just too good. I even liked some simple games like 1Xtreme.

N64 is a great system as well.

But you can get the "BF3 Premium Edition" for $60 that comes with the game and the expansions. Check at Amazon.com, it will be released on Sep 11th.

Hi Guys, If you don't play on PS3 you might not be aware of how unbalanced Rush is on the new Armored Kill maps. Please check out our discussion regarding this. Its 45 minutes (I know long). You have the option of downloading the mp3 or subscribe in iTunes. Links in the video on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wElyrDCnr3o If you have played it would like to know what you think about it. Let us know if we missed some points.AnonymousSquad

I know exactly what you're talking about it. Rush is my favorite mode, but is just unplayable at the moment. The Gunship should be removed from rush.

Played the demo three times and I'm pretty sure I'll need the Circle Pad Pro to play the full game. It hurts my hand just playing the 5-10 minutes long demo. I thought the game (demo) looked great, specially after the 3D effect on very strong.

[QUOTE="jocaju"]

I just got one (arrived today), basically for Resident Evil Revelations. I used my DS Lite just for Professor Layton and those hidden games, my plan is do the same with 3DS, with the exception of RE Revelations.

Games like Zelda, Kid Icarus and Mario Kart aren't really my type.

Hope you really enjoy RE cus buying a Nintendo system when you dont enjoy Nintendo series seems like a huuuge waste of money imo. Personally Nintendo series is 95% of why I get Nintendo systems still. The good 3rd party games is just icing on the cake.

I currently own SNES, N64, GBA, DS Lite, Wii and now a 3DS ( I don't sell my systems/games). I had a blast with MK64 (my fav on the system), but I didn't had as much fun with MK on DS or on Wii, that's why I'm staying away from MK7 for now, maybe I'll get it when is cheaper.

Believe or not, I own those Nintendo systems above, but never played a Zelda game. On the SNES, my fav series wasn't Mario, but Donkey Kong Country, even though I really liked Super Mario World and Mario AllStar. Sure, you're probably think that I'm a weirdo, well maybe I am :P.

Games that I'm looking forward on 3DS are: RE Revelations, Luigi's Mansion 2, Professor Layton kinda games and Super Mario 3D Land (this one, when is cheaper).

TBH, if wasn't for Revelations, I wouldn't be getting a 3DS now, but I'm a huge fan of the series, specially when the series was focused on Survivor Horror and Revelations has some Survivor Horror elements.
