This was extremely poignant to me.

I purposely dont leave comments on sites now because I always get into rows trying to justify what I have said and it all escalates and gets far away from what I was originally saying (i remember hours spent on aintitcool arguing over how crap Lost was, until I realised it was a waste of time, I cant change someones mind by saying the same thing louder and in a slightly different way)

But this message was enough for me to say something, I have 3-4 real life friends now from playing online games years ago but the standard level of dialogue now is so low that we have invented words for types of poor online behaviour and I didnt feel I could interact any longer without becoming frustruted

I thought this was the fault of those with the poor behaviour but it is also mine for not showing them a better way to express opinions, I just decided to step away. I am still around reading comments, I want to see if people come to the same conclusions as me, so now I will try and input in a constructive manner.

I do feel however that gamespot must look at itself to some degree, the attitude in feedbackula in particular verges on trying to shame or attack users because you feel hurt from our comments, why pick out the crazy comments and highlight them, surely you will just get more of the same because it gets recognition.

Thank you for the video Danny, really made me think
