@KingofRogues: because they’re really old and it’s just a remaster. There’s only so much they can do without having to remake them and remaking them simply isn’t worth it, especially when they’re working on a brand new game. This looks and plays a lot better than the original, so it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Plus, the OG’s issues will be fixed and everything will be optimized for 4k and at least 144hz. Just as a remaster should be. We’ve gotten far worse and much lazier remasters than the ones we’re getting from Aspyr lately. Aspyr’s are some of the best, as they’re continuing to prove.
“Thanks for waiting so long. Here’s a $10 discount, since there’s no multiplayer!” We all knew it would be $50, but it’s still laughable. I’ll buy it for $20.
Witchfire is excellent. The graphics are unique and incredible. The performance is also incredible. It’s one of the most optimized games I’ve ever played. It’s a lot of fun. It’s challenging. I could go on. I’m looking forward to the full release.
@Simulator_Shock: that would make a lot of sense. I hope you’re right. I don’t care too much about God of War, but I might pick up that trilogy eventually.
It’s about damn time. Those who are born to be bitter and whine will say “too little too late”etc., but who cares? Old games are still better than most new games. The price tag will be the only issue. No way they’re getting $50 for this. $20 is the most it should be, but I’m sure they’ll price it the same as the PS4 re-release.
@mrbojangles25: watch his older stuff. His acting is still about the same, just seems a little less inspired sometimes. I can see why you’d feel that way, but his charisma and acting is very natural for him. The Fresh Prince was based on his actual personality in real life, down the parts that were very serious and heavy. His comedy style has never really changed, neither has his emotional acting. He was given the reigns to be himself from the get-go and ran with it ever since. Actors tend to appear less inspired as time goes on, so that’s probably what you’re seeing. That, and possibly bad directing.
First things first; never buy Ubisoft games. Also, never buy day one. If you want a polished game with the best experience being offered, wait a few months at least.
Ubisoft has been learning everything the hard way. They’re not currently capable of making a game better than 7/10, not even after the patches.
