At least games like Overwatch and Fortnite are cartoony in art style, gameplay and lore, so the skins make sense and never came as a surprise. COD is just a pathetic shell of itself, copying trends and chasing money, while completely and literally selling itself out.

@12limp: what in the actual hell are you going on about? The characters look phenomenal and are true enough to the originals. It might fall short of your impossible mark, but everything I’ve seen and heard is exceeding mine. I’m not much a fan of the original, and this looks to improve everything I disliked about it. We’ll see how it turns out, but I don’t see it being a disappointment to anyone without rose tinted glasses.

This almost never translates well in-game, but we’ll see. This game is beginning to sound more promising overall.

@stickemup: what in the hell did you guys expect when you saw the main selling point of Stellar Blade? At no point did I ever think that it would have much of a story or any good characters/character development, which is why I’ll never play it.

At least there’s that. The UI is an abomination. Now, let’s see if they don’t actually make it worse.

@xnshd: it’s the most popular because it’s the sequel to MW1 (which was the best COD yet), so MW2 had an insane amount of hype and marketing.

I went to the midnight release for it, pulled an all nighter playing it and went to work at 5:30AM. I liked it at first, but quickly started to dislike most of the gameplay changes and the maps. My favorite mode was 3rd person team tactical, because it was new and fresh for COD. Then came quick scoping, running super fast with airdrop cans equipped and knifing everyone with lunge attack and then auto shotguns and throwing knives, then the god awful , OP as hell dual wielding. Those were the four methods of playing if you wanted to be competitive and stand a chance against anyone using those tactics.

I put 200 hours into the game and disliked it more, the more I played it. Eventually quitting it cold turkey and not coming back. MW3 was more of the same; forgettable. It’s funny, the reboots took the same exact trajectory. Now that’s what I call faithful 😂.

They ended up making MW2 a pure twitch arcade shooter. People explode with cash when you kill them, for crying out loud 🙄. World at War is miles better than MW2.

That’s cool and all, but this game is the height of quick scoping. That’s all you ever see in clips, and even in this mod’s trailer. I think MW1 is far better and more balanced. The only way I’ll play this mod is if they have hardcore servers, for balance purposes. Quick scopers can’t handle it when it’s a level playing field and they also die in one or two hits.

It sounds exactly like the trailers looked. Not surprised one bit.
