@santinegrete: it’s rather alarming if this is all that’s left of online interaction. Maybe all that’s left online is the vocal minority that love to complain and be eternally unsatisfied. I don’t know anymore, but the good people are extremely rare to find.
Spec Ops: The Line is a great game. I’m with you all the way on that one.
@mogan: that’s the unfortunate truth. Steam forums have become unbearably toxic. I’ve been on Steam for 16+ years and it used to be an awesome place to talk about games. There was camaraderie and good conversation. Now, it doesn’t even matter what you say or what you try to talk about. People are going to flame you. If you think something is good, flamed. If you think it’s bad, flamed. If you say anything about how much a game means to you or how much you enjoyed playing it, flamed extra. If it runs good for you, but not for others, you’re a liar. If it runs bad for you, then you’re a cheap bastard trying to run it on a potato and you deserve the sh*tty performance you’re getting. If you give any form of opinion, flamed. Every topic spirals into negativity, bickering, name calling and arguments. If you disagree with any form of agenda that’s being pushed, then you’re racist, homophobic and full of hatred. Oh and also a waste of space on this planet.
Ah yes, I love the social aspect of gaming. So friendly, productive and most of all; very mature 🙄.
This is fantastic news. If it’s true, then it should mean that we get a very polished and un-rushed product. I wish every game could be released in this manner.
As a Deadpool item, it’s kind of funny I guess, but as a Wolverine item it’s terrible. I would much rather have a badass Wolverine bucket than this. I was going to get the bucket before the reveal, but I simply don’t want to own this.
I can’t believe it. I never expected this. I’m completely shocked that there’s going to be another yearly COD release this fall.
At least it can’t get any worse than MW2 and MW3. Unless Treyarch caves in and copies them. Those are the worst COD games I’ve ever played. Gotta love free weekends, but also hate them because they wasted my weekend.
@just1mohr: you came to this article all on your own and commented. You could definitely have helped that. I hear you about not wasting your time on this game though; I’m in the same boat.
It’s nice for those that own the game and might want to play it again or beat it some day.
