To Solid_Azeus, I agree. Crysis isn't that great of a game. It looks beautiful but other than that, it doesn't have that much to offer. I also agree that MGS4 looks phenominal.
Whatever guys! I have a nice PC that I can play Crysis on. I also have a 360 and a PS3. The nice thing about the consoles is that they are for gaming and entertainment only. The graphics that they have are decent. The new PC cards don't really do anything new and different than the GPU's that are in the 360 and PS3. Plus you can emulate DX10 effects in DX9. This new card has a lot of horsepower, sure, but it isn't worth 600+ dollars. By next year this new card will be 200.00 and a new card will come out again that costs 600+ dollars. The same crap happens every year, it seems. At least with the consoles, you know that you will be able to play games on them as long as the companies continue to make them.
To Mooch35, the commoner, why would you waste so much money on a video card when it will be replaced by something better in less than a year. The 8800gt works fine and runs everything. Like someone else said, you can buy a car for that price or maybe a tank of gas. ;)
