I play lots of PS2 games on it. I really only used the PS3 for playing myPS2 gamesduring the first 8 months of it'sexistence. Also having backward compatibilityeliminates having a PS2 in my already cramped home entertainment center.
I like the achievent system on the 360. Definitely adds another dynamic to a game. Sadly though, i find myself picking a 360 version of a game over the PS3 version strictly to get achievements (COD4, Assasins Creed & Oblivion). Achievements over framerate for me :/
I have the same problem with a Wireless G w/ Speedboost router. It will connect for a few seconds then disconnect. Oddly ,it will stay connected throughout an update or demo download. I did some searching on the internet and found there are lots of people with the same problem with no apparent fix other than hardwiring it.
I am a proud owner of a PS3 and unfortunately all I play on it is PS2 games due to no current PS3 games that I want. Otherwise it would be a $600 paper weight. But i am sure in 6 months or so, there will plenty of PS3 games that will pique my interest.
