final fantasy is one of the most overrted pieces of crap ever

i loved ff 3 7 8 9 and tactics but when ten came out the series was doomed

u want a real rpg go play diablo 2 or baulders gate maybe icewind dale

never winter nights and even world ofwarcraft mass effect and starwars kotor

all these games obliterate final fantasy

go play gears of war its far superior to resistance

resistance isnt even good enough to be called a poor mans gears of war

I think so. I personally loved the FF series until I played FF10. I liked the old NES and SNES FFs but I felt taht Square got it perfect with FF7. This game is easily in my top 5 games of all time. FF8 was awesome and barely a notch below being a masterpiece. FF9 was pretty cool but I felt as though the FF series was slowing down. And finally when I played FF10 for my PS2 I knew something was just missing. I played the game from start to finish hoping that something would inspire me in it and make it another memorable FF game. It never happened.

I was never able to play FF11 because my PC sucked to much and i tried playiong FF12, which I was only able to tolerate for about 2 hours.

Does anyone else feel the final fantasy series has lost its flame? What are your feelings in the series?
