Even on the PS3?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if I will need PS+ in order to access to the multiplayer component of a game on my PS3 once the PS4 is launched.

I loved the first NOLF game and the second was pretty good but not as good as the first. I would really like it if somehow, someway that a third installment of this franchise would come out. NOLF was a perfect blend of a FPS and Stealth. The Series had a great sense of humor and think a third should be made.
