I liked Gears 2 better, also. But I felt both of them ended pretty suddenly. I didn't think the story pacing was handled well. They keep on building up in the overall storyline, but within the games themselves, you're surprised when you get the the end and are left with a pretty Soul Reaver feeling of "what...that's it?"
Working on my 100% in Red Dead. Still enjoying Forza 2. Being disappointed in the Fable series. Wishing I was still playing Fallout 3 instead of the Fable series.
I wish they hadn't taken Rareware and taken all their glory from the SNES and N64 golden age. It doesn't seem that RARE has the same love for development since they lost their Nintendo licenses.
What is the average lifespan of a 360? I have heard various from years to a couple of months, but it seems nearly all of them inevitably end up red ringing at somepoint. Fingers crossed mine keeps lasting (2 years and going)
Bully 2 would be pretty awesome. The original was one of Rockstar's best. I just wish the school system in the original had been expanded upon. It's all you do the first half the game and then its almost completely abandoned the second half. Too bad it wasn't a more gradual introduction or didn't have more lectures to go along wiith it.
It's not dead. But its quality has greatly diminished since Harmonix lost control of it. Guitar Hero 3 was alright, but didn't have the same spirit as 2. And since then Guitar Hero has been riding Rock Band's coat tails, trying to match their level of quality. Which is a shame, and sort of annoying. Reminds me of what happened to Single Trac and the Twisted Metal series after they lost control off it, too.
