I started with Space Quest I and I've never really stopped playing on the PC since then. It was a brand new game when I played it for the first time...and the collection just got released on Steam!! Whoo hoo, nostalgia here I come!

The original came out way back when I was in middle school. I remember playing through it over and over. My entire family either watched or played through it themselves. Suffice to say, I have some pretty happy memories attached to that game and it's sequels. I was actually pretty happy that Telltale has taken charge of a new sequel. I got it the day it came out and so far I have to say that they've maintained the that Monkey Island feeling. Good stuff. Had a goofy grin on my face during the credits...

I was really looking forward to this one (have been for five years now). Oh well. There are so many other good games coming out that I guess I can just forget about this one. Seems kind of silly on their part; especially after they were using Intel quad-cores to tout their software not long ago....

Yeah someone tried to hijack my account way back when and it took a couple of says to sort it out. They are kind of slow, but they will get back to you. Kind of sucks when you're waiting to play something though. I had just bought Left 4 Dead at the time and I was going crazy waiting for them to unlock my account...

Bioshock

Left 4 Dead (on a daily basis - my other addiction)

Prince of Persia 2008

Assassin's Creed

Mass Effect

The Witcher (now that they patched the EAX problem)

Call of Duty 4 and WAW

Everything in the Orange Box (bring on Episode 3 already)

rainbow six vegas was crap, heard it was good, but it wasn't tactical, and action based it was generic, graphics were overbloom vomit inducing, Audio quality was substandard, story was weak, ending was terrible, terrible checkpoint system, poor AI. Just overall a very very overrated game.nutcrackr

Seconded

YES, YES and again YES! I'm on round two in Fallout 3. I liked Oblivion a lot, but I found Fallout to be tighter and more focused. Very atmospheric and fun.

Hey thanks. I did send them an email, but like I said, I've been waiting for four days now. I heard that hijacked accounts take higher priority. I still don't know what I could have done to get disabled...sniff sniff

I am absolutely with you on this one. My best friend was a 360 gamer and I am and always have been PC only. Playing on his console made me fill icky. More often than not, we ended up playing at my place (much to my wife's annoyance), because games just look so much better on a PC. BTW, I was also very let down that Gears 2 is only coming to the 360 - loved it on the PC.

So I came home the other day after buying a shiny new copy of Left 4 Dead and excitedly put it into the DVD drive expecting to install and play. Imagine my surprise when I get a message from Steam saying my account has been disabled? WHY? I have never done anything remotely funny with my account, I have never played on any of Valve's servers online so it's not a cheating thing (I'm typically a single player kind of person) and I have only legitimate boxed copies of all of my Valve games. So, I contact Steam and set up a support ticket asking why my account has been disabled...that was four days ago and I've yet to hear anything from them. I'm still sitting here wanting to play my highly expensive copy of their software (not to mention all of their other software) and getting more and more annoyed. I love Valve to death, but this sucks. Has anyone else here had their accounts disabled? If yes, why and how long did it take to get everything sorted out? (I would like to post a similar topic on the Steam forums, but there is a warning there against doing just that). Any ideas?
