Probably because they've somehow managed to turn it into a platformer. Seriously, there wasn't even a single frame of combat.

And you think that instantly means No Combat?
Halo 4 showed you a Cutscene....No Gameplay, A CGI Cutscene...and yet EVERYONE went bat crazy.
Monster Hunter 4 showed you GAMEPLAY, REAL TIME GAMEPLAY minus the Combat that they showed off for Tri G.
Little to No Reaction.
Halo is completely and utterly irrelevant to me, so I've no real idea of anyones reaction to a trailer for it. However, I am still concerned that a franchise I dearly love, is heading towards a direction I can't really see being a benefit for it. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I just don't see why they'd highlight the platforming aspects, unless they intended to give a heads up to the "new direction" it was taking. So basically, I imagine fans of MH like the same sort of things about MH as I do, and well, platforming certainly wasn't a big aspect of the game. Showing a trailer that was pretty much 100% platforming does concern me, and perhaps, other fans of the series.
