Anyone else feel the same? Xbox Live is beautiful, aesthetic, user-friendly, sports an unmatched matchmaking system and is abundant with quality features. I like to compare it to Apple products, specifically their MP3 players. They may be a tad more expensive but you get what you pay for, both quality and quantity. I for one am MORE then happy to dish out 50 dollars a year for this amazing online service, so 360 fans how do you feel about this topic?
Crysis - 8.0
Halo 3 - 9.5
Hellgate: London - 7.0
Mass Effect - 9.5
Super Mario Galaxy - 8.5
I have not seen anything great from Hellgate and I have heared bad things from people in it's beta. Crysis will semi-flop, SMG will put out a respectable score and Mass Effect+Halo 3 will live up to the hype.
You can't buy the 20GB ps3. Stores don't sell them anymore.squirrel337My main reason for this discussion is that I have a 20gig PS3 basically acting as a paperweight next to my 360. What ever ailed me to buy it... Where are the great games I was promised? Where are my "4D graphics"? C'mon Sony! *Runs to PS2 to play some good 'ol Guitar Hero*
[QUOTE="jonymac_1220"][QUOTE="lordxymor"]Why don't you add Compat flash, MSDUO and Memory Stick readers to the 360 too? How about support to any sata 2.5in hdd? Or support for any headset you may prefer/feel more comfortable with? Or a 1.3 HDMI port? Think my sugestions are stupid? So is this thread.l_The_DetoX_l
Too bad the 20gig version supports none of those memory inputs. Plenty of choices for third party head-sets, 1.3 HDMI, please explain to me the great advantages over 1.2.
This topic is about The Elite, the best Xbox has to offer, and the 600 SKU, the best PS3 has to offer.
I believe you have mis-read the title to this topic then.[QUOTE="jonymac_1220"][QUOTE="lordxymor"]Why don't you add Compat flash, MSDUO and Memory Stick readers to the 360 too? Care to answer my post? hmmm?
I see you did like 2 seconds before I posted this lol :P
Already did, look at the post above.
[QUOTE="jonymac_1220"]PS3- $499
PS3- The system
Blu-Ray- Ability to play movies at 1080P (Only though HDMI w/ HDCP compatible TV) Ability to use 50gig disk for games
HDMI Support- For highest quality picture/audio
Wireless Controller- Comes with USB cable
20 gig hard-drive
X360 Elite- $479
Black Xbox 360- The system
HDMI Support w/cable- Offering the best possible picture/audio
Wireless Controller- Comes with batteries
Composite+Component cables- PS3 does not offer
Headset- Also PS3 does not offer
120 gig hard-drive pre-loaded with tons of media/demos
So lets see for the PS3 to be at value to the X360 it would have to have
100gig Hard Drive- $100
HDMI Cable- $10
Component Cables- $50
Headset- $20
Final Cost to equal X360 Elite=$690 without tax/with tax no doubt $700+
The only thing that the PS3 20gig can do that the X360 Elite cannot is play movies at 1080P and use 50gig game disks. Surley you can use common logic and conclude that the X360 Elite has much more value than the 20gig PS3.

You add stuff to the PS3 to make it cost more? How about 360, wheres the HDDVD drive? That raises it for 680. Also. PS3 Componant Cables are $24.99 , not 50. $100 for a 100gb HD? No thank. Heres one for 65 bucks. This means the PS3 would really be 630+tax and the Elite would be 680+tax.... sooooooo YOU FAIL
Sorry was looking at these cables, http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802522
To my knowledge the PS3 does not support ATA-6 Hard-drives I could be mistaken though. Cheapest one I could find on newegg was $109.
I wasn't comparing which one could watch the best movies if I did then I would add in the HD-DVD player I was looking at which one would be the best overall gaming experience right out of the box (I could have mentioned the huge library of games the 360 currently has to offer that is for another disscussion)
