Sad to see him go. Kevin and Greg Kasavin were two of my favorite reviewers.

I'm sure I will eventually get this game...and even enjoy it quite a bit. I have played FO since the release of the first game in 1997. Didn't care as much for FO 3 as FO and FO2 but liked FO NV quite a bit..to me it felt closer to the lore and atmosphere of FO.

The only thing I can really criticize is this review. While the review itself is fine overall it sounds disingenuous. Too much like he is reading bullet points and neglecting with any conviction the enjoyment and experience as a whole he had with the game. Hard for me to take much away from it except the "bullet points" GS use to be my go to review sight but now its basically just a point of reference to glean whatever I can from its reviews.

Great work Cam. Interesting subject matter, you did your homework and kept it in layman's terms. Looking foreword to your next part in this piece as well as seeing more of your work.

I have about 30 hours into it and have had a ball. It's a lot of fun! I will say however, that the more you play and appreciate it, the more you realize how much work still needs to be done and expanded upon. I hope it sees a good amount of improvement (I'd like a more involved tech tree and colony building options, more victory conditions and a host of UI improvements) There's enough game to have fun with but it's woefully unfinished.

I like the G 35's quite a bit. I used cheaper headsets for quite a while and they were fragile, broke easily and very uncomfortable to wear. Although not creme de la creme in the world of surround sound cans I must say that I am more than happy with the build quality and very pleased with software based 7.1 surround sound quality. They are also comfortable for me to wear for hours of gaming bliss.True they are not perfect..if i start a game I must make sure that they are first plugged into the usb port before I run the game..otherwise I may not have sound. It has been a minor annoyance and one that is a decent tradeoff for a headset that does not break the bank (too badly) and does the job very well. My friend has the same headset and his ears get warm while wearing them...so your milage may vary...very comfortable for me though..... Just my two pennies.
