I don't mind finding x amount of items or things where after you are finished you feel like you actually accomplished something. The only type of achievement that I really hate are the ones where if you don't buy the game as soon as it comes out, there is no way to get it without boosting. Because I can't buy most games as soon as they come out, and by the time I can buy it at a discounted price, the online community has moved on to a new game so I can't get the multiplayer achievements, and especially the "Reach the top of the leaderboards" ones.

I don't see the gamerpoints as any kind of a status symbol or anything, I am just a fanatical completionist.  The kind of guy that has to keep playing an rpg until I completely leveled everything and got all weapons, items, etc.  It's just obsessive compulsive for me.
