I have recently purchased the game ark survival evolved and find myself with very poor performance. On all low settings at 720p the framerate is often in single digits with frequent freezes and never going above 30fps. I thought that as my rig is quite old now I may be able to replace the graphics card with a relatively cheap, sub £100 card to attain a playable performance but I am not familiar with the current options available. If anyone could suggest possible upgrades, or advice I would be grateful. My specs can be seen below:

Phenom II 940 x 4 @ 3 GHz

Radeon HD 4890 1 GB

6GB DDR2 memory

2TB HDD

AM2+ mobo

Thanks

I am looking for a new gaming mouse as my old logitech g5 has died, could anyone recommend me a reasonably priced gaming mouse, I just need one that will be responsive and has a good bang for buck. Thanks

I am going to university soon and at the moment have a HAF 932, along with the components in my sig, however it would be impractical for me to take the HAF 932 to university and back during holidays, so I am looking to purchase a reasonably priced mid tower case, preferably for less than £40, but I can go a little higher if need be to use instead of my HAF 932. So if anyone could recommend any decent cases that would be suitable I would appreciate it, thanks.

From what I can tell after getting to level 28 is that the game is quite simplistic and easy to get into with little knowledge or skill required, not to say that it won't get harder but that's what it seems like so far. So for casual gamers it can be pretty appealing and the game rewards exploration heavily, which can be a bit of a downer for more hardcore players, but it can be interesting. However the game focuses around exploring an area, completing "quests" that are assigned when you go in certain areas, completing skill point challenges and completing jumping challenges to get to view points. There are also some dungeons and PvP but I have yet to really delve into these. The WvW pvp looks quite interesting however a server's success seems to mainly rely on the number of people playing and most servers either dominate or get dominated. Furthermore there seems to be no endgame progression, all endgame gear is pretty much the same, whether crafted or obtained from loot, aswell as structured PvP giving you all of the best gear when you start leaving only gear that looks slightly different to look forward to unlocking. Overall, it's quite good if you play it casually but htere really isn't anything to do other than explore and complete quests as you go. Hopefully they will impliment some more PvP gamemodes such as arena, hell even duelling to increase hte amount of end game appeal.

Which is the best netbook for general web surfing and word, with a decent battery life, preferably 7 hours or more for less than £300?

I was looking at this, but if anyone could recommend a better alternative I would appreciate it. Thanks

Ok, so currently I have an xbox 360, a decent PC (in my rig) and I play in HD with a HD TV. Recently I have been wanting to record my gameplay and possibly edit it and upload it to youtube, however none of the cheaper, below £100 capture cards will receive a HD input and the input must be SD for it to work, so I must either play in SD to record or pay around £150 for a HD capture card, which I don't want to do. Therefore I am asking if there are any alternatives to this, which would be cheaper and allow me to either record in HD or in SD whilst playing in HD for less than £60 thanks.
