This is all down to bad parenting, not video games, period. If you can't protect your children from mature content, or raise them properly, then you shouldnt be having kids in the first place.

Aliens versus Predator!!, what did it get? like a 5? or something. Sure not the perfect game by a way, but I LOVED it and the multiplayer was just awesome fun!. Very underrated imo
