i just got the godfather and so far i love it. the controls are so much fun. it makes you feel much more immersed in the game. nothing like slamming people up agains the side of a bar or strangling them to death with your own two hands! lol
jraics' forum posts

Ask if I can come to! Ask if I can come to!
:D
hahaha damn i'd fly out there for that! maybe he could kick our asses, take our names, and give us all jobs! (hey, we can dream.)
Well, I'm going to make my dreams a reality, I won't give up until I get a job at Nintendo. :)
Hey, there's a school around here, that after you get your degree, you automatically get an interview with Nintendo. Do you know the college I'm talking about?
It's called DigiPen. you should go there. i hear it's one of the best game design schools in the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigiPen

[QUOTE="SimpJee"] [QUOTE="ninjai18"] [QUOTE="jraics"][QUOTE="SimpJee"] [QUOTE="jraics"]yeah, everyone needs to chill. they're still a loooong way from shipping. having worked at a major game studio for two years i can tell you that early builds are almost always unpolished and not representative of the final gaming experience. i actually worked on a couple of our E3 builds for some of our games and they were quickly put together to give a basic idea of what the game will be like, but of course they're buggy as hell. also, NONE of these games are even in beta yet. they're probably not even in alpha, just in early milestone builds, considering there's still five or six months until they ship. so, to make a short story long...i'm not worried.ninjai18
I think I'll take the hint, and not worry about these two games until they're about to come out. :D
Which game studio did you work for?
i worked at EA Tiburon here in central florida. it was a really fun job even though EA stands for all that is wrong with the video game industry (milking popular movie licenses, putting out the same game year after year which uses the same five year old engine but with new rosters and schedules, etc...) i would love to be able to work for Nintendo someday.
Very cool man, bummer that it was EA though, yikes. I will be going into game development as well, going to college to major in software engineering. I will be working for Nintendo of America soon, they are located only 10-15 mins away from where I live. :)
Good luck, I might go the PR route and be your boss :P
 I'm screwed.
lol. yeah, that would be cool. maybe i'll make the voyage out to Washington. is that where you are ninjai18? i wouldn't mind getting into the marketing side of things...maybe work for the regginator!

[QUOTE="SimpJee"] [QUOTE="ninjai18"] [QUOTE="SimpJee"]Metroid ATM, from what I've heard on IGN, Red Steel needs some work. ninjai18
Don't all game before they are released?
No. :|
Hmmmm, clearly you know very little about game development then. ALL games still need work when they are in their beta stages. No offense, but please try not to talk when you don't know what you're talking about. ;)
