Haven't been on Gamespot in a while! Wow! It was fun to look over old posts and read about current games.
Will post soon? Who knows.

I have a similar problem. I really need some help.
I use a Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop:
RAM Installed: Size512 MB / 2 GB (max)TechnologyDDR II SDRAM - 400 MHzMemory specification compliancePC2-3200Storage Floppy DriveNoneHard Drive60 GB - 5400 rpmStorage RemovableNoneHard drive typePortableHere's the problem:
I have filled my laptop to the brim, it literally has 2% free space! The Disk Defragmenter can't even work without 15% free. I have an average amount of word documents, maybe 500 songs on iTunes, and 3.86 GB's of pictures.
I bought a Western Digital 360GB External Hard Drive, and I can't even get it to regester on my computer. It did the first time I plugged it in (through a USB Port), and when I was done going through my InstallWisard, telling it that I didn't want to look up a program on-line to read this hard drive, it just disappeared. I can't even find it when I go to 'My Computer.'
The Disk Defragmenter says that it needs 15% clear too preform properly, but even if I delete all my documents and all my photos, I still wouldn't even be close!
Please help. I don't know what to delete, or what to fix, not to mention where to begin!
Thank you so much for taking the time!
Well, now that I am fully emerged in to my summer, I, of course, headed to my gamecube. Live it.
So a game I have had for a while now, but never actually started (I was a tad distracted by Zelda Twilight Princess) is the Super Smash Bros. Melee. I have begun playing within the past two or three days, and I am really enjoying it. It isnt my first time, I have played some before at friend's houses, but this is the first time I have seen any of the 1p challenges.
Also, my report card came today. It was good-- here they are if you are wondering:
2D Art -- A
Geometry -- B+
English -- A-
World Cultures -- A
Biology -- A
French 3 -- B+
Those are my year grades, and they are basically regular, so, good good.
If you have
a. beaten Super Smash Bros. Melee
b. spent some time on SSBMelee
c. have ever plugged in to one game of it
Then I would like to know (if it applies to you):
1. How long did it take to beat it?
2. How much time did you spend on it per day, in it's prime of your choice to play it?
3. Did you like it?
Wonderful! I would very much appreciate any comments!
I'll post again soon.
1. I am at my 99th post, and for my 100th, I want to be in a meaningful forum and such, any ideas?
2. I am done with exams!! Summer is here for me!
Well, I havent posted lately, and this is mainly due to the fact that my wonderful exams are this upcoming week.
I have two per day: Monday is Math, then English. Tuesday is History, then Fine Arts (and because I do art, we just had to turn in a portfolio, so I dont even have to show up.) And Wed. is Biology and French.
My grades are pretty good. My classes that I have to work hardest in are Math and French-- French more so.
It was just two years ago that my school's student council persuaded the administration to let us start our exams at 9am instead of 8am-- and it help everyone's average grade go up, that they kept as long as we were successful with it. I am thankful for it.
My math teacher wants us to go to school sunday (as in this weekend, on a weekend, to school.) to do/for a final math study session. I think I will go, but with the amout of people who whould either think it is a.lame or b. too out of there way, and would rather 'study' at home, I am a little worried that I will be the only person to show. or one of few. But that should be good right? I mean, thats like a personal tutor, right? Well, that's atleast what I am telling my self.
It feels so weird that this past friday was my last day of classes this year! It was liberating. Also, yearbook came out, and it was great as always. We had 'spring fling' after classes that day on the quad, and that was good. Teachers in dunking booth = very therapeutic. haha.
Well. I guess that's it for now. I am going to go write my history paper. Fun stuff.
A question appeared on the Gamecube forum:
twilight princess, should i buy a gamecube just for this?
i really want to play this game very badly, and i dont want to buy the Wii, so is twilight princess just as good on the game cube as it is on the Wii
Here were my two responces:
there are two ways to go:
1. if you dont what to buy the Wii, well, are you sure? ... but ok.... you should buy the GC for Zelda TP-- it is a wonderful game.-- and also, there are other advantages: a. GC's are cheap right now, b. other really good games were made for it that you could get, c. those other games are really cheap, d. The GC is well known for it's durability and how long it lasts with out problems. .... So, you really can't go wrong.
2. you could buy the Wii! I dont personally own one, but think about it. -- This GC page is going to be taken off Gamespot, and Wii will have more new and cooler games made, a good investment into the new generation of nintendo.-- these are well made too. Also, the Zelda TP is on the Wii and is a great starter game for it! Also, with the Wii being the latest thing, cheats for games and fun stuff like that will have the most effort from people around the world working on figuring them out and stuff. -- I love participating in that.
So, I am not a hypocrite. I know I dont own a Wii, that is just because I am not done with the GC yet! When I am, I will make the purcase.
I hope this helped, I would really like to find out what you decide! PM me when you do!
Then I realized there was a part I left out. Then I replied again:
Oh, and also, Zelda TP is just as good on GC as it is on the Wii.
In fact, I believe it is better on the GC.
If you look at the ratings, Zelda TP is still the number one game for the GC, while on the Wii, it seems to have been forgotten...
I would really like to know how you would respond to such a question! Please comment!
Thank you.

Response to LordelX II: Regarding GBA --- the II part, because this is the second time I have posted about what LordelX has posted.
First, I would like to begin, LordelX has given me things to talk about twice now, and I would like to fully thank him. If you like my blog, check LordelX's out too!
So this is what LordelX posted on his blog on, the Game Boy Advance. Here it may be referred to as GBA, as it is commonly on Gamespot.
Goodbye to the Gameboy Advance
On the April 10th 2007 edition of the "Hotspot", Jeff Gerstmann was explaining how the GBA section of Gamespot's web site days are numbered. Therefore, I was just what wondering what everyone thought of the system at this point in its history.
In my opinion, and I realize that I may be alone on this, the Gameboy Advance is definitely one of the best game systems of all time, and the greatest portable gaming system of all time. I consider the GBA library to be leaps and bounds better than that of the NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis, TG-16 and previous iterations of the Gameboy. Let's take a more detailed look at that argument.
- Ports: we cannot deny that the GBA was a great place for remakes and ports of older software. Just about all of the biggest titles from the NES, SNES and Genesis have been ported over or remade on the GBA in one form or another. The entire Super Mario series, entire pre-Sony Final Fantasy series, pre-Sony Breath of Fire series, Cl*ssic NES series, Capcom Mini Mix, Sega's Smash Pack, Phantasy Star Collection, entire Donkey Kong Country series, Lunar, Zelda: A link to the Past, Shining Force, Comix Zone, Earthworm Jim, Rock and Roll Racing, Double Dragon Advanced, Final Fight One, Super Ghouls and Ghosts Advanced...these a just a few examples of a collection that rivals what is available and going to be available on the Wii's Virtual Console. With a robust collection of Arcade Game Collections as well, there actually is more retro gaming available for the GBA than any other system.
- Great sequels: the GBA was a great place to resurrect alot of dormant franchises that had been forgotten since the beginning of the 3D era. Many of these franchises were continuations of existing series from other consoles, evolved to a form that seemed beyond the scope of a portable game system. The Castlevania Series, the Fire Emblem series, the Advance Wars series, Metriod Fusion, Sword of Mana, Final Fantasy Tactics, Zelda: The Minish Cap, MarioKart, F-Zero, Super Gunstar Heroes, the Pokemon games, the MegaMan Zero and Battle Network series...these are just a few examples of previously existing series on other platforms that really came into bloom on the GBA. Some of the best entries of these series are exclusive to the GBA.
- Original software: with all of the great ports and sequels making their way to the GBA it's easy to overlook the vast majority of original titles for the GBA. Great titles like Racing Gears Advance, Warioware, the Golden Sun series, the Boktia series, Car Battler Joe, Tron 2.0, Drill Dozer, the Iridion series, Mech Platoon, Ninja Five-O, the Super Robot Taisen series, Yggdra Union, Riviera: The Promised Land, Astroboy: The Omega Factor, Top Gear Rally, Scourge: The Hive...these are a fraction of the quality original games in the GBA library.
While at this time, the DS and PSP have captured the imaginations of current gamers, I believe that history will show that the GBA was a legendary system, that will stay in the hearts and minds of those who played it for years to come.. I'll be playing GBA games for many years to come. How about you?
END
So, here was my quick response:
LordelX, to respond to your blog regarding the GBA's successful history: I agree that GBA was, and is, the best of portable systems. Though PSP may have better graphics, and can do more with the music and movies part-kind of like an ipod.... I feel it was just a copy, as was the DS, and others. Possibly a copy of the ipod's features as well. I think it is also wise to look at all the games that the GBA produced. Of course I would like to just focus on the two wonderful Zelda games, but that is beside the point. The point is that what has the PSP given us? Madden and friends, some war games, and that's about it-or games that are on all systems, or too much for the GBA graphics-(but keep in mind its age). So, in conclusion, I agree with LordelX. The GBA should not be cased aside like just another version of the ipod, but it should be preserved and honored in its past, historically significant, success.
END
So, basically I think that the GBA is a system that shouldn't be pushed away from Gamespot. Gamespot should be careful about what they take away from the website. The website is to promote gaming and should relies that people shouldn't forget something as important as the GBA.
Please, tell me what you think.
