thanks for the replies i will try both i think it is a bit strange that it became overheat now couse i have it in the same place since i bring it a year ago. i have thought maybe it was a problem with the electric tension
i have my ps3 for a complete year now. And till 3 days ago i have no problems with it sometimes playing for 3, 4 hours or more. But this last weak i play 20, 30 minutes and it simply turn off the red light is no longer red it is as if the ps3 just dosent have power any longer and to solve it i have to disconnect and connect again the ps3 to the electrical outlet.
is not bad but is far far away from being a replacement to the pc. is not easy to browser ininternet and it have several crashed. But i strongly belive than in the next updaes that would improve.
the main difference is the space and the more modern components the slim have.But actually the fat have a nicer aspect and more usb ports + the sd reader. i choose the slim because its smaller and have newer components. but the 160 + uncharted is a sweet deal in the end is up to you.
i have got the ps3 slim since september when they released it. and have really push it to its limits dowlondings games while y play for hours without stop and i havent got any problem as long as you keep it in a well ventilated place you will have no problems. The thing that may bother you it does it only have 2 usb ports instead of four and it dosent have sd readers.
