I have played the whole game and this review score is *rediculous*. Now I'm sure money passes hands in many review scores through advertising or through web site hits (face it XBox360 dominates the traffic on this site), and it isn't just Gamespot. I expected the review to be lower than other sites, but not this *obvious*.

Bottom line people, play the game. If you are as convinced as I am that this is nothing more than a XBox corporate shill site, don't come back, don't renew your subscription if you pay, go to other gaming sites for news and reviews, it is really that simple.

Try disabling the media server functionality in your PS3 network settings. This seemed to help during the beta. I have the DL version of the full game and it froze on me first match I played (at the 'choose your spawn point' screen). Disabled media server, played for 3 hours straight. YMMV

Get 'Oblivion', as it's the greatest video game of all time, and you will love it. Trust me!!!JannettyTRocker

Oblivion is great if you are into that type of game. Sigma is awesome as well. Resistence is pure quality. I vote no on vegas, it doesn't standout compared to resistance for online gaming and it is another lazy Ubi port (slightly more effort than previous attempts but it still doesn't seem polished)

I bought both. For what it is worth Vegas was fun for the first three hours or so and then I lost interest. I have to agree with others in the thread, I'm just burned out with FPS games at this point (which is a problem with all the hype FPS games scheduled :D)

Sigma 4thewinz. Very technical and fun fighter, definitely not a button masher

Yes this is my first post.... :D

I played the previous version to death on the PS2 before I bought the PS3 and have been looking forward to this edition for a while now. I have to admit that I prefer the last version of the game. I don't know what it is but I'm dissapointed. The controls don't seem as responsive, and the running game isn't anywhere what it was in the previous version. I know these games are animation heavy, but it feels more like I've lost control due to animation more than normal in this version. Maybe I will get used to it, but I'm not sure after my first four hour session that I'd recommend it for purchase. Haven't played the 360 version so no idea on the differences.
