Thinking I should sell my Wii and all accessories for this bad boy! I tried the UC demo in GS. I was blown away by the Vita. It's very close to being a portable PS3... which is pretty amazing. I may wait until the end of the year to get it... but my tax refund is coming soon;)
I know that both of these will sell well and get good reviews for the most part. But, I really believe that BF3 is going to be what many gamers are really wanting out of a shooter. MW3 will be fine in its own right, but after the hackfest of MW2 and the letdown of Ops (I actually enjoy it, but many gamers are overly disappointed)... they're looking for something from the same cut that takes things to the next level in terms of skill, quality of gameplay, and server support. I have both games pre-ordered, and I know I'll enjoy both. But, I imagine I'll be playing BF3 more.
Seems to me that these visuals are pretty close on both systems. The PS3's colors seem to be richer and more vibrant in all of these pics except the MW2 pics. 360's pics look like someone took a very thin coat of grey over them... again except for MW2. Other than the minor detail here and there, these look good on both systems. I'm certain these differences aren't noticeable while playing these games anyway.
I'm thankful for Batman: Arkham Asylum... finally a game worthy of the Dark Knight. I'm thankful for Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Modern Warfare 2, inFamous, Street Fighter 4, God of War Collection... and all the other great games that we've been graced with this year. Last, but not least, I'm thankful for all the fanboys here on Gamespot. May you continue to post uneducated comments that make me laugh on a daily basis. Happy Thanksgiving gamers!!
@MTMind2... Tiresome, yes... nonsense, not quite. Considering that it's fact that MS made billions by stealing Jobs' idea for an OS, nonsense just isn't the right word. What's nonsense is all the "thumbs down" my last comment was given by all you PC fanboys. I thought PC gamers were supposed to be above that sort of behavior. I am glad that you've been appointed to Captain of the comment police... congrats! What sort of comment should I have posted the first time? Something like this... "OMG!! W7 is the bestest OS evar! Vista blows, and XP is outdated... W7 is my hero." Because that's pretty much what everyone else is saying. This was fun, we should do it again soon. KTHXBAI
Still not as good as OSX for Mac. Seems like MS is always trying to copy Apple's OS... recycle bin copied from trash can, tabs in explorer copied from safari, the "new" alt-tab is copied from command-tab. I guess it serves them right since Gates stole the whole "windows" idea from Jobs back in the 80's... and he still can't get it right. I'll stick with my Mac, thanks. For all the Windows users... I hope this one treats you better than Vista.
Same old M$, always trying to copy what Apple has already done. Mac OS will always be better than any Windows OS, because Apple is always ten steps ahead. Glad I have an iMac!
