this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest achievement in Modern Warfare 2. People have cheated, camped, gnawed, or actually display beasty skills just to get one. For a lot of people, it validates skill, while others believe its a killstreak that pushed the community to become campers....

i for one have seen a lot of camping because of this killstreak. Do i think its a show of skills, i think so, but up to a point. does it mean a guy with 10 nukes is better than a guy who doesn't? NO. but 25 straight kills is still 25 straight kills, camping or not. now let me tell you my story...

i didn't care much for it at first until i started seeing a lot of youtube videos. Then my squad got hit with a nuke. i was pissed and embarassed. the guy that got the nuke had 67-7 spread and 5 of those deaths were from me....but he still got the nuke. suffice to say i wanted to get it. me n my friends were in a race to be the first to get it. my friend won (noob tube/danger close). and got it about 2 months ago. he's had this swagger ever since. Me on the other hand came close about 20 times. ive had 20-24 kills only to die in a stupid undisciplined fashion, or ran out of time or my chopper gunner/harrier wouldn't do enough work. i was frustrated. i saw these videos of these guys who had harriers and chopper gunners stay in the air and not get shot down. i saw videos where the opponents were full of noobs. i asked myself why can't i get that lucky. i was ready to give up. i figured after my 4th prestige i would just give up on it and just try to make it to 10th prestige as fast as possible....but

Today i woke up at 7 am (weird since i was hung over) i decided to play a couple of games before washing my car. i was at level 58 trying to get as many levels as fast as possible. i got into a map afghan and decided to complete challenges for the bushmaster ACR (i'm a rusher with ump guy). started off pretty bad. i went 3-4 for the first couple of minutes. then for some reason i got in a groove and got 7 kills (rushing). when i got my seventh kill, someone on my team popped their uav and noticed there was a hot spot near me. i got my harrier and got 2 instantly. it gave me time to run to a more secluded place. before i got to the back grassfield (FLAG-B in domination) i got my chopper gunner, and by the time i got to my spot, my harrier got me 14 kills. i got my chopper gunner and started mowing my enemies down. for some reason they kept on spawning the same area and none of them shot it down. when the chopper gunner was done....i knew i was really close but the match score was 7300.i got really nervous and tensed up. i ran in front of the caves hoping that the next kill would be it. some guy in the back of the caves started shooting at my teammate, so i shot him...

25 KILL STREAK- TACTICAL NUKE

i was screaming like that little kid who got the n64. i even woke up my sister who was still sleeping.i got my 1st nuke. after 3 months, i finally got it. all those times when it was soo close and i choked was worth it. i don't think ive ever felt more accomplished with any game. this was my moment...i got my swag back.

so i was playing a couple more games, doing good, and doing okay on some maps. i joined a map that was already in progress-it was AFGHAN. the score was 2500-1900 (we were loosing)i died the first 5 seconds. 2 guys were camping by the gardens and bunkers (where i hid the first time). i managed to kill 7 that were lurking in the caves. I SMILED. i only got up to 12 before my harrier was shot. i started mowing them down with the chopper gunner and those guys that were camping in the bukers made it worse for the rest who spawned outside. by the time my chopper was done, i had 23 straight. i wasn't as nervous as before because i just got my nuke a couple of hours ago. so i shot at the bunker opening (would usually rush in there) and...

25 KILL STREAK-TACTICAL NUKE.

a 6th prestige guy on the other team left the game while he was the host. i waited for 1 minute, nervous, thinking this jerk could erase everything i did....but the host migration succesfully transfered.

2 NUKES IN ONE DAY

after having zero in 3 months. not only that, but i got my title-global thermonuclear war. i have proof, and no one can take that away.

does this make me a dope mw2 player? not really. but i got my 2 nukes, and i wasn't noob tubing, or camping. i got it the way i always played, but maybe a little more disciplined after i got to the 20's....
