Hold down the power on button (the touch botton) for a few seconds. It will beep a few times and all AV settings will be reset back to the factory default.CellAnimation

I had the same prob... Thought something was wrong with my consoles av out lol, thanks for the info. Worked:P

they are both right. But I will explain how it works. First you have to know if your pc monitor supports hdcp if so you use a HDMI to DVI cable to connect it with your monitor. But if your pc monitor don't support hdcp you'll have to get a adapter that converts the digital signal of the ps3 to a non hdcp signal without quality losses. You have to connect your ps3 with a hdm/component with the adaptor.And you have to connect the converter to your monitor with a hdmi-> dvi cable or a component cable it depends on which adaptor you use.
