i dont see why there are so many PC ppl out there who say things like this. and also i dont like seeing how people say somehting along the lines of --

because neither one of you know for sure whats going to happen.

my only point here is that yes, we all (or most of us) know that it has been optimized and will possibly have A game SOMEWHERE down the line that COULD POSSIBLY come to a console. there.

BUT you must also look on the monetary gaisn they would get from allowing more people to purchase Crysis (or a Crytek engine game) on consoles.

to be honest it seems absurd to me at least to make a PC only game. simply because most people buy consoles... i understand an RTS because they simply dont make much sense on consoles, or MMOs, because not many have a high success rate on consoles... but FPS should be able to work on all platforms.

and when u look at the normal average market, most are NOT willing to try to build their own computer from newegg just to be able to play one game.

Now that ive said all this, let me throw one more thing out there... Bioshock... simply put, it was initially meant only for the pc and 360, but theyve realized that there is a high demand in the PS3 market for story driven gaming... MGS4 STILL hasnt released, (i knwo its coming the 23rd) but would anyone else like to point out a few high quality games on the system that have a good story?? because i cant. and i own one.

but ive ranted enough.

just to clear anything up i have a high end pc that can run Crysis, a 360, a PS3 and a Wii. and the only one im "eh" towards is the wii... so im not biased towards any one in particular.
