Alright my xbox has been acting up lately. I was playing mass effect 2 and was half way through a mission when it crashed (xbox had been on for about 30 minutes). The screen has short white checkered lines running across it and the images freeze and blur ( there is no audio and no error message or red lights appeared ). I thought it was just the disk so I took it out of the console and turned off the system. I turned it back on a few minutes later to see if it would crash on the dashboard, and it did. It crashes within minutes of turning the system on now. I read up on some microsoft support boards and did everything they said to diagnose the problem. I rotated having internet connection on and off, having the hard drive on or off, and different games. Even with the standard xbox with no hard drive or internet connection it crashes. I would like to hear back from some other people, have you had the same problem? if so, how did you fix it? Do you have any idea what it could be?

When I was about 5 my parents got me a nintendo 64 I was so amazed at the time about the worlds and characters people were able to create that I wanted to study games more than play them and that's what I am trying to continue pursue today, keeping up with the ever evolving gaming market, so that in the future I can work as a concept artist or graphic designer.

I agree with you on the AI, from what I have seen it sucks, but I will wait to see it hands on.

As for the lighting, that was just that campaign, valve has stressed the point that there will be a variety including different weather.

Personally I don't care who the characters are as long as they have a weapon in their hands, but yes, in comparison to the original 4 they are dull and boring.

Timing, I think they tuned things pretty well for the time it was done in, but I wouldn't mind waiting a few more months for some better AI.

We will see how everything turns out.

if you want the codes for SJ just ask some of the people at gamespot they have tons of extras they will just give away.

no, it's not like it is going to effect the gameplay, so it's not a big deal.
