to the guy asking if quild quests are soloable, yes they are just harder. i have already have ucumalbus armor (full set) and i have never once played multiplayer. just get good :D

actually the rajang LS is the best one at end game, and long swords suck for end game execpt for the dragon and raw ones. but yeah they are nice. just dont listen to eveeryone and use it on tigrex, just GS his face i can beat duo G rank tigrex quest in like 15 mins.

lol this thing IS NOT like tigrex. i have his full hr8 set of armor for gunner and melee lol. for the easiest fight use a nice 1h fire sword (i use the lvl 9 golden falcion) and for the most fun use fire lances or great swords, if you are realy good at dodging use evade +2 and a heavybow gun with flame shots and pierce shots and aim for his face. you can roll under his tail swings and watch the direction he is facing before he pounces, he turns his head in the direction he is gonn multi-jump so just run the opposite way and you wont get hit. his tail pound is a 1 hit KO with max hp so make sure to learn when he is going to do it. USE PITFALL TRAPS as they catch him for about 15 seconds and then use some large barrel bomb+ on him, and you can only trap him in rage mode. good luck :D

monster hunter is a game about hunting monsters . go figure.

yeah its worth it if you are close to killing akantor or have killed him, his set gets nurfed pretty hard in unite so dont worry about making all of it, just move onto unite. akantor is the urgent for guild HR6 i believe. and if you are having trouble on him use gun chariot ;)

oh and yeah the cat helps, but you shouldnt use it on higher rank quests as he aggroes bosses and throws off the patterns, a master can solo anything.
