Could never end. I remember that Blu-Ray was this close until that darn Paramount deal. Blockbuster nationwide reported that 70+ % of high definition rentals were Blu-ray and they decided to completely drop HD DVD. Now that things are locked in a stale-mate, it's quite possible that we'll see Blu/HD combo discs and players soon. No one wants to throw in the towel when so much money has been invested so far.
Another movie with tons of potential. They could easily make a killer movie just because of all the character in the GoW series. It's Greek myth, the list of names of gods and deities goes on and on that they could use.
I'd probably see it but the movie would need a Michael Bay type. The only way to make GoW is to have a lot of money backing it up with large scale porportions and a respectable CGI studio doing the work. If they hired the I Am Legend CGI crew, this movie could be possibly tank worse than Hitman or RE.
