both games are amazing but super metroid probably has the best atmosphere in any 2d game ever and its the most popular speed running game of all time sotn borrowed alot from sm like the map system secret items and shortcuts its like the greatest game ever made i feel sorry for xbox and ps3 fanboys that will never play games like these
