Hello, and welcome to the beginning of what I am hoping will be a great experience for myself and readers alike. I'd like to begin by introducing myself. I'm Joe Xavier and I'm writing out of Providence, RI. I'm a recent college grad and a video game connoisseur. Gaming has been part of my life for nearly 20 years since my father bought me a used NES and the original Super Mario Bros. from a crackhead on the street (true story). My passion for gaming soon grew to be hotter than the system my dad had procured for me. Growing up on Sonic, Mario, Street Fighter i quickly became addicted and somewhat antisocial (oh the teen years were bad at first but i came into my own) Games for me are a significant part of my life still and i play pretty much on a daily basis even if only for an hour. I do get busy in my adult life. My plans for this blog are reviews of games that am playing, and editorials and articles on recent gaming trends and developments in the games industry. My gaming tastes are greatly varied and range from the Final Fantasy series, to FPSs, Music games, and most recently Assassin's Creed 2 which i will be reviewing in the next post.
