you want to the character to be magic based or atleast have destruction magic and illusion. The game is pretty hard without magic. to make a mage warrior, i would pick: Destruction

 Illusion

Restitution or marksman

 light armor

 Shield

 Blade

sneak

 dont pick alchemy and conjurgation since ithey level fast on its own or security/mechant since they are pointless.callen3

So do that? I heard that a pure melee is the best but i wasnt sure.

Ok, im about to get Oblivion within the hour. So right now im thinking of what race and class to be.

I havent played Oblivion personally, and i own morrowind. So i guess im a noob when it comes to the particular game.

So what exactly would be a good starting character for the game?

Why would you camp? There are gonna be plenty to go around, since MS is just making a desperate attempt to keep up with Sony and Nintendo's hardware by adding some accesories to a 360.

It's kinda pathetic.

Ive played both GW and WOW. I got GW first thinking it would be good but its not really. I would even consisder it a real MMO. After that i got into WOW and its an awesome game.

WOW hands down.
