I had the same problem when i first got mine. Change the channel on your router to either 1 or 11 (i use 11) and you'll be good.deathstar1
i changed it to what you said and it's actually running much faster but still not as fast as it should. i'm gonna play around with it a little more and see what i can do. thanks!
[QUOTE="jz4evr"]I just got a ps3 a few days ago, mainly for blu-ray movies, but i've been downloading from the PSN store and the dl times are CRAZY! Videos that are 250mb take over 3 hours. i started dling ninja gaiden sigma last night and i took atleast 8 hours (not sure cuz i fell a sleep at 4). is it that bad for everyone else? if so how do they plan to roll out a movie dl service? i know you get what you pay for but come on they need to have at least more then 1 server (it seems). it's so slow that a 28k modem is faster. COME ON! On XBL the same video that takes over 3 hours on PSN takes maybe 5 minutes, and the demo that's 1gig that takes more then 8 hours to dl on PSN takes at the MOST 1 hour (and that's being slow). I would rather pay a little bit so i don't have to leave my ps3 on all day to dl a few trailers and a demo.

either your exaggerating the times a little or you have one really bad connection

im along the same boat as many im using a linksys router with WEP but even without WEP and setting up a new connection with no protection i still couldn't get on,im getting the dreaded 51330 error code.keldarironfistKeep everything like it is. Keep your WEP but go into your liksys router, where you put in your password and other info, make sure that you use the the "Key" instead of the password. The key is your password that has been encrypted. Put that number/letter combo into as password for the WEP and you should be connected.
Alright guys i might have some solutions to a couple of problems.
For you all that have WEP codes and can see your connection but can't connect to the internet try this. What you want to do is instead of using your "Passcode" or "Paraphrase" (depending on what router your using) use your "Key" or the provided encripted code. Make sure your "TX Key" is set to the code you use. I had the same problem most people are having. Once i put in my actually encripted passcode i got it accepted no problem.
Also for those that are having problems not being able to retrieve the user agreement. Make sure once you get a connection that works and actually gets access the internet, delete ANY OTHER CONNECTIONS that do not work. I had my connection 1 that had the wrong passcode (what went wrong above) and a new connection 2 that finally was able to make a connection with the encripted passcode. For some reason the wii will try either both or the wrong connection to get the user agreement.
Hope this helps!
