I AM Pi..ed off! I bought an Xbox 360 in October last year. It came with a free game and it must of been one of the first few models. I took the machine home and tried to play the racing game when sign came up and said Disk unreadable or dirty. I took the game back to the shop and the sales man kindly gave me a discount off what I had paid so I was pleased. I went back home and started playing Marvel Alliance all seemed well and I love that game.

After a while the same sign came up Disk unreadable or dirty. I thought to myself damn i'm having bad luck and as this was a second hand game I thought "typical"!

I then opened a new game from the packet called oblivion special edition. I looked at it and smiled, and because of what I had heard and read I Knew this was going to be a great game. I placed it in the new machine and just as I thought the game was amazing.

After playing it for about 5 hours and my mind being well into it the Fu..ing Mother Fu..ing sign came up again. I was tired and so pi..ed off. I have five games and that sign comes up DISK DIRTY OR UNREADABLE. Anyway I've spoken to customer service in Fu..ing Japan because thats where I am and can't read the languge oops sorry about that ,and they said "the machines do not scratch the disks"! by the way the machine and the games are imported.

I've noticed that the humming sound just dies down and then that sign comes up. by the way Mass effect is a great game luckily this game seldom has that sign come up. I think the first two or three games I played got dammaged and whatever was rattling inside seems to have settled. But I don't feel like buying any more games until its fixed or I get a new one.

I just feel I've been fu..ed!

Well people Please tell me if you have had this problem or if you have little Gremlins running around in your house like me.

My game idea:

A game like Rome Total War but you start with only one village or a very small kingdom using various diplomacy, building your military, buildingbuildings and managing yourkingdom. The difference would be that there would be many more buildings to chooseand buildthan usual games.Some buildings may have little effect on a kingdom but it feels like you are in control of how your lands look and you`ll feel worse when they are destroyed. In these kingdoms items can be found, some items will be put in your capital`s vault like a Magic mirror or cursed gold. Some items can be given to your generals to enhance their skillslike a sword or helmet. These items can be taken when your general falls.

Every 7 lands you capture an epic video will be shown giving you a satisfying sence of achievement. also in addition a new point system will be introduced good points nutral points and evil points. When you have 20 points of a certain type You will be able to recruit a special unit to put in your armies. Nutral points are easier to get but the unit is slightly weaker. Good deeds give a minus to evil points but have no effect on nutral points and visa versa.

Your armies will be designed completely different first you will recruit only peasants now with the right training and buildings you will be able to create exactly the army you want for example each unit has 10 skill points available so if you want the peasants to be able to ride a horse that is one point used. If you want him to be an excellent rider that would be 2 points if you wanted him to be able to use a lance, sword, axe whatever these all need training and time but the variations are limitless.

ofcourse youll have armour up grades and experience is gained on the battlefield.

You would be able to design the look of your army with again a choice of many combinations finally you will be able to name your generals and towns,cities.

Thanks again guys Never give up and keep the heat on. What we need is lots of deplomacy choices, reliable alliances, items for generals, more buildings of beauty and dread, Video footage for reward and more of a feeling that its your army maybe by naming some of your generals or choosing an original flag design. Building buildings of lower importance buts gives you a feeling of real ownership of an empire. Maybe a character to search lands for treasures and valuable items.

Tell me your views.

Does anyone know how much it costs to make a strategy game like Rome Total war? I`m curious and if I won the lottery I would definately try to invest. It`s a stupid question sorry.

Thanks guys for your opinions. But lets spread the word and it may come true. most of my info came from the descovery channel about Mongolian invasion attempt of Japan.

One thing is the Japanese used light metal plated armour which had to be waxed regularly because Japan is so Humid and the metal would rust.

If you`ve ever seen a glorious Japanese battle in all its glory and colours with thier mini flags running about you`ll get the taste for it.

Any more ideas for a Shogun 2 is worth talking about and may attract someones attention 2 years down the line.

Don`t you think it`s time they honor the game that started them off. They should and I really hope they make a kick arse remake of shogun 2. Heres why, Watch the movie HERO just to name one also think about china and the cool looking armies, then come the mongolians with there fantastic archer cavalry and they were said to have some kind of throwing bomb. You may think ok you`ve seen the cavalry archers before but this time after they swoop through china they decide to invade Japan.

They build up their fleets of ships using chinese workers that seem not to make proper ships for their new masters and use river boats and a few large ships to cross the sea to Japan. When they get there instead of just rushing the beaches they attack in waves. The samuri in glorious fashion wait at the beaches. The Mongolians have superior cavalry and technology but the Samuri have Superior Infanrty swordsman. The samuri manage to keep them from landing and also send small boats of worriors to keep them busy and off the beaches at times. Then by gods hand and the help of bad chinese ship builders a Typhoon comes and saves the Japanese empire by wiping out the Mongolian fleet.

After such a loss of Mongolian armies rebel chinese armies form to create a powerful chinese empire. With items for generals and video footage. Also we could consider a number of different Japanes factions,Korea and a few other countries.
