Why don't the devs do this. It's kind of funny but if you shoot a team mate accidentally or on purpose you deal that damage and not them. This means, trolls will just be killing themselves so they won't continue trolling. As for accidental shots, the player will still learn from that mistake without having harmed their team mate.
@kenundrum7: I have to agree, there are too many online only games. Devs are kind of unambituous, uncreative and lazy these days. For example, terrorist hunt could have been offline for the solo play. Also, if they added a offline story mode everyone would have been more excited for the game without doubt.
@Feenspear: In The Last of Us mp, hardly anyone wears a headset but people still play as a team. Some times its okay for one or two to go solo in order to flank opponents. There are only a few maps and not that many weapons but I love it as hell and find it very addictive. It can be the same with Rainbow Six Siege.
This is great news! I came across a lot of trolls who would just kill team mates and then start teabagging them. There were a few that killed me and some that just shot me and then teabagged me to tempt me to shoot back. But I didn't, I ain't troll like them.
