Yeah, she has finally returned. Real Lara and the REAL Tomb Raider. Don't get me wrong - TRLegend is a great game, but TRA has something else...that atmosphere, some kind of nostalgia feeling.

Nine years ago, when I first played original TR (on my cousin's PC, I think) I didn't imagine, that two-hour adventure will become some kind of a passion. And now, the history has made a circle - I'm sitting on my chair, and playing Tomb Raider Anniversary. Once again I have chance to explore places, that I know so good. Crystal Dynamics achieved something, which is impossible, in theory. They made a perfect remake. You can disagree with me of course, about difficulty level (which is generally hard, but no so hard, as in TR 1) or lifespan, but - heh - I just love this game. And I know - maybe I'm overacting, but this game is making memories alive.

TRA however isn't just Tomb Raider 1 remake, it's the type of game that is very hard to get nowadays. The modern players are looking for extremely easy and dynamic form of gameplay. Anniversary is totally different - here the most important thing is the atmoshpere of exploration - pure "TR-gameplay".

Hope Crystal Dynamics will chose this way, while making TR 8.

PS. Bought Collector's Edition of course, the soundtrack is just amazing ! However, I'm little disappointed because of Bonus DVD - the only valuable feature, is a GameTap documentary.
