I am still in shock that I even managed to do this. So, I got up this morning and I was more or less on time for once, I see my car and it is covered with frost. Annoyed, I shove my bag into the car, turn on the car with the side door still open and get back out again to retrieve my scraper from the backseat. Now, my car has a bunch of ignorant auto features, like the seatbelts are automatic and the doors lock as soon as the car is started, meaning that if the doors are open when the car starts and I if do not re-unlock the doors on my way back out of the car, the doors will be locked from the inside upon my exit. You can probably see where I am going with this... As I shut the front door, I remember this and pulled at the back door, not really believing my ignorance for a full minute before I stood back from my car ready to just scream into the air. That is right. I locked my keys in the car...with the car running. I had all these thoughts running through my head about how I almost put my cell in pants pocket instead of my bag, and the number of times I had meant to hide an extra car key or house key somewhere outside the house. Completely embarrassed, I went to one of my neighbors who was luckily still home and got to call AAA who came after an hour to open my car for me. Grrr! I had such good intentions for today! This is the fifth time I have missed my Monday class between mourning time and my own stupidity and I will probably have to drop it because I have just missed too much time. (Sigh) I am so aggravated. I just cannot believe I managed to do something so stupid. Oh well...
