I think he's dead forever.... He died on me too.... But thing is, it took forever before he died lol, that horse goes through alot.Gaming4You1990I agree with you.
I think the power cable may have just been a coincidence. If the laptop was already on and no power cycle occured then there's absolutely no reason that plugging in a charger should matter. I still think you have an IP issue going on. I had similar problems in my dorm room back in the day and I fixed it using the previously provided method. Try to use the same step-by-step that I gave you above at school (it should work the same way on both home and school networks) and see if it works (assuming your laptop is able to connect to the internet). I suspect it will fix your problem, but if not let me know and I'll try to help you another way. DHCP/IP problems aren't always connected to a router issue... I'd put that out of your head until you try the fix and see if it works.I agree with you.[QUOTE="Shinobi_Daisuke"]
I don't think I have any static IP addresses set up. I won't be home to test your suggestion for a while, but I doubt it would help. None of my router settings have changed at all since I started using a different computer, so I don't understand how there can be a problem. It's not even working while I'm at school right now, even though this was the first place I set up the connection and it worked perfectly right away.
What I don't understand is how it can be running just fine without any problems and then suddenly stop working when I plug in the charger cable. It makes absolutely no sense and I don't know what to do about it.
