TO EVERYONE USING WINDOWS 7 Send a suggestion to MS for a game mode to be built in where you can select a game and tell it which backround programs (like anti-virus, torrent program, etc.) and services to disable when you run your game. Then when you exit the game it will restart everything. That way you don't have to shut everything down manually and restart it once the game is done.

I've been using Windows 7 now for over a week, everything works just fine, drivers, games, steam games, etc. I used Vista quite a bit and actually like using it over XP but this is much much better and I will not go back, I really don't even know why this is beta. Everything is faster, load up, games, file transfers. P.S. Proman84, check out a program called DOSbox, it works great I used it to run Star Trek:TNG Final Unity and X-com

Nice Article, I have to say this is exactly why I haven't bought a PS3 yet. There is nothing special going for the system. Its like when the 3DO came out. It was a sweet machine and everyone marveled at it in the store, but no one bought one cause we were all sucking the tit of the Super Nintendo at the time. I was a die hard Sony fan and refused to buy an Xbox . That changed with the 360. I was lured in by Fight Night, PGR and GRAW only to be drugged by a seamless multiplayer, achievements and playing my own music in games. All Sony needed to do was at least copy that innovations of the 360 and bring themselves to par. Which is sad considering the system had been out for a year. Listen to the gamers, don't force them to do what you want and drop the price.
