Wow that was really great in it's apparent simplicity, it is still on early stage obviously...maybe it needs some thinking on how to make the movement of the mouth as real as possible...but the potential of this tech is enormous, should be the default tech on any computer...the level of immersion is like : i can't go back to the way it was done before :).
Heck this needs to be implemented the right way in any game...we can voice act the reply in a cut-scene...no more silent and emotionless protagonist (unless the cut-scene is done by an actor)...we can yell a war cry in a fierce battle...you name it...Hype moment :)))
Maybe is just fair not to limit yourselves at online interactions...and for that is needed a believable way to interact with NPCs...something like Facade maybe, anyone??? Thank you Faceware Technologies and Star Citizen for making a new step foreword in playing.
@kidcitrus: well it seams I was obviously wrong :)...even if I was a bit sarcastic,I was kind of hoping it was a multi-player game where everybody can form a party with the characters from the game.
Now that is a well made video...hated the one with country music...but this one made my day,I really hope is gona be way better than everyone's expectations.Definitely going to buy.
Greed kills technology...psychological barrier at 500 broken...maybe is not even all that perfectly optimized still also...people say about other uses of it but still gamers are the ones that would make the thicker lines...and we kind of feel back stabbed ...bottom line risky move that could prove fatal.
