THE KARAI NATION
In the pacific ocean there were two islands that were near each other.
one large and one slightly smaller than the other, one day four men met on the larger
island. to attempt to keep from feuding, The four men each claimed a section, The first man
claimed the small island and called it the fire nation.
The second man chose a low lying land abundant in white sand beaches, and called it
the water nation.
The third man chose green jungle land, and called it midori.
The fourth man chose a mountainous sea region and called it....Karai.
After time the four nations grew and were filled with all kinds of people.
Each nation had it's own strengths and skills. The water nation was filled with exceptional swimmers
and fishermen.
The midori nation has great hunters and were the best with camouflage.
The karai nation built fishing vessels that were designed to hunt sharks and were experts in all forms
of combat.
The fire nation had great soldiers and destructive power.
All four nations lived in peace and many years later in the karai nation, it is a glorious day
for the youngest of the leader's two sons has turned sixteen years old and a large party is
being held in the center of the village.
The leader sits with his youngest son by his side.
"Tomorrow you complete the trials. when you pass, you become a man", said the leader.
"Yes father", replied prince Taka.
The next day the whole village prepares to throw celebration for the prince. the leader heads for the shore
closely followed by prince Taka.
A few minutes later a man walks through the village.
"Good morning prince Nocu", said a nice old lady.
"Good morning", replied prince Nocu. as he walks through the village.
At the shore a crowd gathered to watch the trials. The crowd included people
from both the karai nation and the water nation. among the crowd was prince Ornando
of the water nation, which was an old friend of prince Nocu.
As the leader and prince Taka were getting ready to start, an old man stood up on a high
area, and said "the trials will test this boy and see if he is ready to become a man. If he is able to kill a shark and bring it to shore he will be a man.....But if he is unsuccessful, he will have to wait and try again next year".
"The rules are your crew may assist you at any time except when you fire at the shark".
"Also there will be a second boat is the water".
"Those are the rules you can start when you are ready".
Then prince Nocu walked down the hillside and got on his personal boat. prince Taka saw his brother get on the other boat, and said "I'm surprised to see you".
"I wouldn't miss this", replied prince Nocu.
"Nether would I", added Prince Ornando. as he boarded the second boat.
Prince Taka smiled and got on his boat and him and his father launched their boat.
The second boat is getting ready to launch.
"Ornando are you ready", said prince Nocu.
"As ready as I'm gonna be", replied Prince Ornando.
The Prince launched his boat.
The two boats circulated the bay searching for a shark. Prince Taka spots a shark near a reef.
So thay start toward the shark.
The young prince climbs on the harpoon gun. when the ship is near the shark the boat drops the anchor.
so the boat would not move. So the prince fires and hits the shark than the prince grabs the rope that was connected to the harpoon and starts to pull. But the shark was quite strong and almost pulled prince Taka overboard, his crew grabs onto the Prince to keep him from falling overboard and thay help him pull in the shark.
The boats head back to shore, on board Prince Taka and his crew celebrate.
On the second boat Prince Nocu heads back to shore with a smile on his face.
"WHOA, the little guy did it!" said prince Ornando. Prince Nocu just laughed.
"I haven't seen you laugh in a long time", said Prince Ornando.
"I'm just happy that's all", replied Prince Nocu.
The two boats landed on the shore and there were celebrations all through the night.
Three weeks later a letter came notifying that the leader of the fire nation had died and that his son Prince Tabi
would be taking over the fire nation.
When prince Ornando got the news he ran to find prince nocu. he finaly found him practicing his combat skills
and told him the news.
"The leader of the fire nation has died and Prince Tabi has control", said prince Ornando.
"That's not good...prince Tabi has always been hungry for power", replied prince Nocu.
"Well maybe he's changed", added Prince Ornando.
"Maybe but I'd start getting warriors ready to fight....He can't be trusted", added prince Nocu.
In the fire nation Prince Tabi stands on a balcony overlooking his army. he is standing with his general,
the general says,"in my opinion we have the greatest army this land has ever seen".
"Your right, move ahead with the plans", said prince Tabi.
"Yes sir", replied the general.
In the karai nation prince nocu goes to speak to his father, meanwhile prince Ornando is talking to prince Taka.
"Why do people treat my brother with such respect"? asked prince Taka.
"Well....you know how you went through the trials"? replied prince Ornando?
"Yes", replied prince Taka.
"Well, you see your brother Prince Nocu ... when he went through the trials he refused to have a crew on his boat. and he went out there by himself", added Prince Ornando.
"Why"? asked prince Taka.
"Well...he went out and completed the trials by himself to make a name for himself and he succeeded.
you know he still carries the weapon he made from the shark", replied Prince Ornando.
"Which weapon"? asks Prince Taka.
"You ask alot of questions, you know that"? replied Prince Ornando.
"I'm curious". said Prince taka.
"Well alright, it's the spear with the shark jaw on the end. You know the one with sharpened edge and the shark teeth on the back", replied Prince Ornando.
"Oh, that one", added Prince Taka.
Meanwhile, Prince Nocu was trying to talk to his father.
"Let me train some warriors. I'm the best fighter on the island", said Prince Nocu.
"No! I'M telling you Prince Tabi is not going to attack!" Replied the leader.
"You do not know him like I do". Added Prince Nocu.
"The answer is still NO!" said the leader.
Prince Nocu left the village and a small number of warriors went with him.
Over the following weeks Prince Nocu taught them several forms of combat at a small bamboo hut in a remote part of the nation.
Meanwhile in the water nation Prince Ornando was trying to get warriors of the water nation ready to fight if the need should arise.
In the fire nation the soldiers were on their way to attack the water nation.
"The soldiers are on the way", said the General.
"Good first the water nation than the Midori and then finally...Karai", said Prince Tabi.
"Now once we do that ...there will be only one nation....Fire". stated Prince Tabi.
In the water nation Prince Ornando was talking to one of his warriors when the warrior said: "what is that?"
Prince Ornando turned to look.
"THE FIRE NATION!...SOUND THE ALARM!!!" yelld prince Ornando.
All the water nation warriors ran to the battle. When the fire nation boats landed all the water nation warriors attacked but the water nation was not able to stand up to the crushing power of the fire nation solders and were defeted,as the last few warriors stood thay gave everything they had and fought to the very last man.
When the water nation was destroyed the comander of the fire nation soldiers sent news of the victory via a messenger bird.
Now they headed for midori.
Meanwhile Nocu not knowing what had happend to the water nation was teaching his warriors combat techniques.
Later the fire nation army heads into the midori nation ,when they get deep in the jungle they do not see anyone.
"Where are they", asked a soldier
Just then from camoflaged positions the midori warriors attack the fire nation soldiers and deliver quite an inpact but the fire nation is just too strong the fire nation soldiers counterattack with twice the force. Just as the fire nation is about to win a second attack to the fire nation flank but the attack is not enough to defeat them and the midori nation is destroyed.
The commander of the fire nation army sends news of the victory by messenger bird and waits for reinforcements to replenish his badly injured army to their full strength.
Later reinforcements finally arrive and the commander decides to make the final push to karai.
Later in the karai nation the leader was talking to his son prince Taka, when he got news of the nations falling
to the fire nation.
"Thay were right", said the leader.
Just then the soldiers came charging into the village.
"FIRE NATION SOLDIERS!!!" yelled prince Taka.
All the warriors in the village attacked the fire nation soldiers but were not ready to face them and were losing badly the soldiers were far more powerful, and then....
Prince Nocu and his warriors came running into the village and hit the solders with all their fury, the fire nation soldiers could not bear the force and ran from the battle, the warriors gave chase and chased them all the way to
the shore of the water nation.
The fire nation soldiers fled in their boats back to the fire nation.
Prince Nocu and his warriors returned to the village were the villagers gave them a hero's welcome.
In the fire nation Prince Tabi is talking with his general when a messenger comes in the room.
"Exsuse me my Prince", said the massenger.
"What is it", said prince Tabi.
"Well....your army is....back". replied the massenger.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE BACK!!!!" yelled prince Tabi.
"Well....Prince Nocu....kind of drove them off". answered tha massenger.
"DROVE THEM OFF!!!!!!!!" SCREEMED prince Tabi.
Back in the karai nation a celebration is being held, Prince Nocu goes to talk to his father, when a massage comes.
The leader stands and reads the massage....It says, "Prince Tabi and the fire nation regret the hostility against your nation and wish to make peace. We reqest Prince Nocu comes to the fire nation for peace negotiations".
"The fire nation wants peace", stated the leader.
"WHAT!...You dont actually believe that do you?" said Prince Nocu.
"Of corse we do, we want peace just as much as they do",said the leader.
"NO WHAT THEY WANT IS TO REMOVE PART OF OUR FORCE AND LEAVE THE KARAI NATION OPEN FOR ATTACK!" said Prince Nocu.
"We beat them once we can beat then again". replied the leader.
"You beat them with our help". replied Prince Nocu.
"NO!..WE ARE INVINCEABLE!!!" said the leader.
"NO ONE IS INVINCABLE!!!!!" yelled Prince Nocu.
"YOU WILL GO TO THE FIRE NATION AND WE WILL HAVE PEACE!!!!" yelled the leader.
So Prince Nocu and his warriors go and get in his boat and head for the fire nation.
When their boat arrives at the fire nation shore, Prince Tabi stands waiting to greet them, when the boat lands Prince Tabi heads towards the ship.
"The fire nation welcomes you". said Prince Tabi.
"The fire nation does...but do you". replied Prince Nocu.
"Of corse I welcome you". added Prince Tabi.
Prince Nocu and his warriors follow Prince Tabi into a fortress, they all sit at a big table to talk.
"I would like to know what happend to the women and children of the the nations you destroyed". said Pcince Nocu.
"Please destroyed is a harsh word...I prefer to think of it as...defeated, and the women and children are fine". replied Prince Tabi.
"Where are they?" asked prince Nocu.
"I'm holding them in a prison, untill they get usted to being part of the fire nation, then I will let them go". answered Prince Tabi.
As the negotiations go on some one entered the room and whispered something in Prince Tabi's ear.
"No". replied prince Tabi speaking softly.
"I am sorry but there seems to be a problem at the prison, we will have to finsh this tomorrow". stated Prince Tabi.
As Prince Nocu and his warriors were heading for the tent thay were staying in, Prince Nocu looked up at
a balcony and saw the person that was talking to Prince Tabi before he left the room.
"Who is that?" said Prince nocu.
"Who?" asked a villager.
"The persaon on the balacony". replied Prince Nocu.
"Oh...that is Princess Tara". ansered the villager.
"Princess Tara....Prince Tabi has a sister". said Prince Nocu.
"It's shocking I know, she is nothing like him ether". replied the villager.
Later that night Prince Nocu went down to the shore and sat on the beach.
After awhile Princess Tara saw Prince Nocu from the balcony on her room and decided to go and talk to him.
As she walked up to him she says, "Hi...my name is Tara".
Prince Nocu turned around to see who is talking to him.
"You're Prince Nocu aren't you". said Princess Tara.
"Yes I am, how did you know?" asked Prince Nocu.
"My brother mever stops complaining about you". answered Priness Tara.
"I guess I must be doing a good job". replied Prince Nocu.
Princess Tara just sighs, and thay talked all night untill dawn, when Prince Nocu notices an object on the horizon.
"What is that?" asked Prince Nocu.
"I don't know" replied Princess Tara.
The object comes closer and closer untill thay could see what it is.
"It's....a messenger bird". Said Princess Tara.
"OH NO!" said Prince Nocu as he ran to the tent.
"HURRY GET UP WE HAVE TO LEAVE!" Said Prince Nocu.
"Whats wrong?" said one of the warriors
"A massenger bird just flew over heading for the fortress!" said Prince Nocu.
"OH NO...EVERYBODY UP NOW!!!" yelled the warrior.
They all run down to their boat and headed for the karai nation.
When they finally made it to their village they saw that it had been destroyed, some of the huts were still on fire the
warriors hurried to put out what fire there was.
The warriors searched to find any survivors then they found the leader half way under a pile of rubble, they pulled him out.
"You...were right". muttered the leader.
"Where is every one". asked Prince Nocu.
"The fire nation...took them". the leader said with his last breath.
In the fire nation Princess Tara goes to talk to her brother.
"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!!!" asked Princess Tara.
"I did what was nessasary to destroy the enemies of the fire nation". stated Prince Tabi.
"THE ONLY ENEMY THE FIRE NATION HAS IS YOU!" said Princess Tara.
"I am not the enemy they're the enemy". said Prince Tabi as he pointed toward the karai nation.
Princess Tara leaves the room and heads for the shore.
When she arives at the shore her and her bodygards get in her boat and head for the karai nation.
Later in the karai nation, Prince Nocu and his warriors have finished putting out all the fires.
"Now what do we do". said one of the warriors
"We attack the fire nation". ansered Prince Nocu.
"How?" asked one of the warriors.
"MAYBE I CAN HELP!" said princess Tara.
"Where did you come from?...more inportantly...what are you doing here". asked Prince Nocu.
"I'm here to help, Tabi needs to be stopped...and we're the only ones who can stop him". said Princess Tara.
"How do we know we can trust her?" Asked one of the warriors.
"We dont really have a choice do we?". answered Prince Nocu.
"Alright Tara ...how do we do this?" asked Prince Nocu.
"Well we have two small armys here, even if we combined the two we still would'nt be able to beat the fire nation
army". said Princess Tara.
After a few momeants of thinking.
"Thats it". said Prince Nocu.
"What?". replied Princess Tara.
"What if we take our boats around to the back of the island to the prison". said Prince Nocu.
"Than we relese the prisoners, causing chaos". stated Prince Nocu.
So the two boats sailed around to the back of the fire nation, then snuck into the prison and knocked out one of the guards and took his keys then they release all the prisoners.
while one of the patroling guards notices the prisoners are gone.
"THE PRISONERS ARE GONE!!!" yelled the gaurd.
A messanger ran to tell Prince Tabi.
"Prince the prisoners are gone". said the messenger.
"What?..find them!" ordered Prince Tabi.
as the soldiers ran to find the prisoners, the warriors got ready to attack.
Princess Tara ran up to the soldiers guarding the front of the fortress.
"Get those prisioners". ordered Princess Tara.
"Yes Princess". said the soldiers.
as the soldiers ran to find the prisoners, the warriors attacked and ran in to the fortress.
When the warriors got in to the fortress thay sealed the doors, by the time the soldiers realized what happened
thay could not get back in.
The warriors fought their way through the fortress and finally defeated Prince Tabi and the terrible fire nation soldiers.
One month later it is a glorious day. there is a wedding between Princess Tara and Prince Nocu, the four nations unite into one nation and thay called it......Karai.
