Side note: Personal vehicles return home, everything else gets towed unless saved in a garage(which I suggest for all modded cars, then just jack something to do get home or where ever).

Did you check the impound? I think thats the point of it. Rather than delivering your car to your home free of charge, they tow it and lock it up. I think it's $250 a vehicle, with upto two vehicles stored, the rest get pressed. I've recovered several, try it out.

I really have to ask: why do you care?  Can you even hear the differrence between Dolby Digital and DTS?  Even if you claim you do, can you ACTUALLY hear the differrence?  If I sat you down in a room and asked you whether the recording you were hearing was Dolby Digital or DTS would you be able to tell me?  I sincerely doubt you could any better than someone guessing 50-50.bragac200

maybe you don't care, but to others (audiophiles, like myself) it does matter. besides, its not about being able to tell the difference between DD and DTS, its getting everything that you paid for. if you buy an hd-dvd player, then it should beable to support EVERYTHING that hd-dvd has to offer. as for gagit811, i have read somewhere - i can't remember atm - that there is supposed to be an update that will allow the 360 to support all audio formats that hd-dvd supports, i don't know maybe it will be in the spring update coming may 7th (i think). *crosses fingersz*

i own an hd-dvd add-on and i love the picture, the only problem i have is the audio. i like to turn up movies pretty loud but the audio from this doesn't sound too hi-def, it sounds kinda muffled compared to dvd's with dts. although i did read somewhere (i don't have a link) that there was supposed to be an update for the hd-dvd drive on the 360 add-on that would allow other audio signals supported by hd-dvd (ie. DTS, DolbyTrueHD, DTS-HD, etc.) but i'm not to sure if that was a fact or rumor. this is just my opinion, so maybe you wouldn't really notice the difference, but i'm kind of finicky when it comes to audio.

has anyone else had problems with their elite yet. i hope not. well, i went to wal-mart at 3:30 - i was going to wait til the morning but i couldn't sleep i was so anxious - the first wal-mart i went to , the guy was an a**h***, he told me that the system wasn't in stock and that they weren't selling them until sunday night/monday morning, i told him that couldn't be because i had been there before and saw them, they just weren't for sale. he wouldn't let off his blatant lie and there was really nothing i could do so i left angry and he followed me out of the store to make sure i left. the next store i had a little more luck and the lady was nice, buuuut ... when she brought it out, it looked like a cougar got to it. the thing looked like someone used it for soccer practice and then gave it to me. well i bought it anyway hoping it was just scratches from them unpackaging it, but when i got home and opened it, the back was split open like someone hit it with a baseball bat. so i went back and kind of hassaled them to give me my money back because the lady was aware of the condition and sold it to me anyways. at this point i had almost given up but my ambition was still too strong, i had to have an elite. so i went to a third wal-mart and thats were i met my new 360 elite. it was a little dented in one corner but it didn't look bad, so i took it. at last i found solace and was able to sleep. now i am awake and my elite awaits me. i know this is a ridiculous topic but i felt like i needed to tell someone and thank you for reading if you did. if you had any problems obtaining your elite, feel free to vent here.

i just sold my 360 to my brother and its out of warranty (over one year old). is there any way for him to renew the warranty? or does he just have to pay to get it fixed everytime or if it breaks again.

also, its been repaired under warranty about two months before the one-year warranty expired.

i actually had one in my hands. although i couldn't buy it. i went to wal'mart and an older lady told me they had them and went to the back and had some guy bring the box that had both in it, she gave one to me but when i tried checking out the system said "no sell allowed". she told me there was nothing she could do and that they didn't give them a release date(though i knew what it was already) and that i should come back at a later time.

also did anyone know that each wal-mart is only getting TWO systems. i went to four different wal-marts here in san antonio, texas. and each store said they only had two and they didn't know when they were going to be for sale. is microsoft cutting the supply short to make it look like there is a huge demand or is there just not enough demand that they are not shipping a whole lot. because every store i go to has 360's falling out they're ***. seriously.

i know its stupid to think this, but i almost got an elite. i had heard of people purchasing the elite before its release and i wanted to test this, so i went to wal-mart and i asked an older lady if they had it yet. she said yeah and that if i wanted one she could check in the back of the store, so of course i was like HECKK YESS!! so she got one (actually two that were packaged together) and gave it to me - I HAD IT IN MY HANDS - but when i took it to the register and the cashier scanned it, all that came up was "sell not allowed". it felt like i got punched in the face, even though i knew better, but all my hopes were crushed. i thought i might have gotten lucky. well atleast i got to hold it.

oh, and on a side note. shouldn't the topic title be "(Xbox 360 Version 3)", did someone forget about the core package or are they acting like it never existed.:P
