So I found out this week that a couple of the new Ph.D. students in my program are interested in studying video games as well. Thank goodness I'm not the only one anymore. I mean, it was interesting being the only person with such research interests for a little while, but I would rather truthfully have more people to talk with and bounce ideas off of than to be alone. After all, that's what school is all about. I can finally have some in-depth discussions about things we may have been exposed to in classes, and not feel like the red-headed stepchild.
