Taking out Rock Band and replacing it with Bioshock Mass Effect gets my vote even though I am a hardcore Halo fan and am not an RPG fan in any sense, I hated Oblivion after about an hour. The game simply looks epic and completely unique, especially to the 360. Halo 3 is just that, the thrid Halo and while has new stuff, will be an incredible game (Bungie is to good to let it suck), and will have people playing it for years, its been done twice before. I will live and breathe this game for a very very long time Assaisins Creed also looks solid but it doesnt seem to have the scope of Mass Effect and like some other people on here have said, seems to not be totally polished. I know Im a little apprehensive about it not living up to its potential and thats the biggest let down for me. I know some of the PS3 people prolly felt that after Lair/Warhawk didnt turn out so great. I can attest to as a beta player for COD4 that it will give Halo some competition for online shooters. Its incredibly addictive and thats only on 3 maps with a limited number of guns and levels. Its all I play right now even though I have pretty much finished everything there is to do in it. FPS fans have a lot to look foward to this winter. As for Bioshock, I did not like it as much as most other people seem to. I appreciatied the theme and story and it had some unique ways to play, but after one play through, I have no urge to go back again. People say the game will change how FPS are done, I cant see the next GoW using many ideas from Bioshock. Although it would be fun to toast the bad guys. I didnt think the AI was all that strong. Yea you light them on fire and they dive in the water or they run and heal, anything else?
No matter what wins GOTY, us as gamers win this holiday season. At least if you own a working Xbox 360.
yea its exactly what i did, but i had to return EVERYTHING that came in the package including the game. They offered me cash or a cashcard to the store to go and get a new one. I shoulda taken the money and gotten myself an elite.
If you can, try to buy one at costco lol. It costs a bit more because it comes with some extra stuff(game, controllers, mic) but their return policy is essentially lifetime. They take almost everything back. If you do return it you will get to choose money or just swap for a new one.
