Especially if you wanna go the Nintendo route. cause all they did was just come at you with a wii mote and said play your games this way. gave you a new way to play. but the game itself... is still the same game. Smash brothers? Metroid Prime 3? Zelda?! fine quality titles for sure, but they're still the same game played before just more better looking. I really can't say that for MP 3 though. that game really looks like 2. So all you have there is just a new controller. and this thing really isn't all that new btw... dragon quest for the ps2? onimusha sword or was that soul calibur? I don't know but games having motion sensor detecting controllers been going back since the days of the dreamcast maybe even before. Hell, Tekken 3 even had one. Didn't work, nor did it get popular but it did have one.. But anywho, since I know the ps3 is scarce in quantity I'll be sure to get that first. Then I'll go get a wii.. since there will be more of those available. But I'm a bit nervous.. because I'm scared that the wii will offer nothing but rehashed mario/link/yoshi/pokemon/etc games and nothing else later on in life hell towards the end of the N64 and all of the life of GC, that's pretty much all I saw from Nintendo.. But resident evil for the wii is something I'm looking forward to. The audacity of Nintendo saying that the wii will be a centerpiece for a living room. I can't believe they said that. I'm sorry, but no... that'll be either the PS3, or the Xbox360... simply because.. if you have a decked out entertainment center, it's looking spiffy and nice. and if you're console isn't representing your entertainment center properly (wii) then more likely than not you will flaunt a ps3/xbox 360 first. and if the wii is there it'll be shown as the sidekick... living in the shadow of the other 2. and that's for true.
