I did not think that I needed a good headset for VOIP. I found that I can not live without my headset. I joined a gaming guild and found that talking over the internet allows you to make all new friends all over the world. I have a hard time thinking of playing team based games without it.

On strange side I would have to say Grim Fandango. Great Game but...... On the scary side I have to go with Thief 3. There is that bit were you have to go to the orphange and find the blood stain of the child. Then have to run around in the place avoiding "care-takers" and the like. I would not do that section at night, and in the day I got so wrapped up that I had to step away a few times.

Check out the sunlit DOD:S league. Play on a server or 2. There are a good list of DOD Groups that play for the teamwork in a comp leauge. At the 907th server they limit the special weapons to 1 of each (sniper, Bazooka, MG) per side. They also run a clean server. This is on a 25 man server.

THere is fun to be had in both gerneal play and/or a clan, guild, or realism group.                       

And how many of you have fought in WWII? DOD:S has qualites that have yet to be matched in both speed of games and teamwork. I challenge anyone to find a good DOD:S server and try it out. Don't knock it until you try it.
